Lovely break away in a spectacular part of Scotland. Beautiful views of Ben Nevis, especially on clear sky days. Cabins whilst being well equipped and positioned are in need of some improvements. Beds and bedding were excellent and kitchen was clean and very well equipped for self catering but carpets needed cleaning/renewing and bathroom was also in need of updating. Outer steps and wooden verandah would benefit from some maintenance, the balustrade around the verandah was particularly weak giving me concern for safety if it were leant on. The general initial impression of the exterior entrances would be improved if they were swept clear of leaves for arrival. However we were blessed with particularly good weather for the time of year and enjoyed days of adventures to Ardnamurchan, Arisaig, local forest and various canal walks.

Just back from a long weekend staying in the Nevis Lodge with a group of friends. The lodge is fantastic, cool design internally, spacious and clean. It's in a great location as long as you have a car and overlooks Ben Nevis itself...when the weather allows! Will definitely recommend it to friends and family and hope to re-visit in the future.

The view is amazing but the lodges seem a bit run down. Cobwebs all over the outside and it isn't the most cosy. If you were going out for most of the day, it wouldn't be bad. If you were planning to stay in the lodge for a longer period of time, I would concider somewhere else. Still a decent place though.

Visited July 19. The location is fabulous, very quiet and serene. The cabins need some major upgrading however. We stayed in Curlew which had a great view of Nevis but does need a major revamp. There were gaps in the main front door which were half an inch across, the windows are plate glass and don’t easily open. Not sure this would be safe with kids around. The bathroom needs completely re-sealing as there was mould everywhere but the shower worked well. The heater in the lounge wasn’t working and was bent probably were somebody fell into it. The kitchen is well equipped but the cabin in general could do with a good clean if not a full re-vamp. I love dogs but I don’t want to stay somewhere that smells of them. Location wise, the chalets are perfect for walking, cycling and getting into Fort William itself. We will only go back once the chalets have been upgraded. I wouldn’t visit outside of summer as the chalets would be too cold due to the holes in the door, lack of working heating etc. Oh, and the TV doesnt work if theres a lot of rain or low cloud because the aerial isnt suitable for the poorer reception in the...

We have just returned from a week at this Lodge, first of all , it is in a beautiful position , with stunning views of Ben Nevis and around , ,the lodge has everything you want for your holiday , but the Lodge itself i don't think has had a good clean since it was erected, you would have thought with Covid still around it would have had a deep clean , it is in poor repair , the outside deck has never been swept , there are weeds growing through it, the outside is covered in cobwebs, inside , the windows are really bad , dead flies , rotting window frames , there is a big crack in the glass fire front, the hood on the cooker is covered in grease , the windows are never cleaned , no shower mat and it is very slippy ~ the owner never once came to ask if all was well , he did come up one day had a look at the dustbins and then went away , very bad manners i thought as i said the lodge is in a stunning position , but it is not...
