Hendra Retreat Holiday Barns — Hotel in Great Britain

Hendra Retreat is a true retreat from the craziness going on all around us in our normal lives. Whether you want to stay put, relax and enjoy your wonderful accommodation, or to use it as a base to get to so many different places, such as Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac and Padstow to name a few.

Our accommodation was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. Super comfy beds, large wonderful showers, with spring water, and everything you could need in the kitchen to cook a meal or prepare something really quick. We stayed in Piglets, but i believe this applies to any of the barns.

Bridget and Tom were wonderful hosts, on site if you had any questions and full of helpful information on places of interest to visit to suit you. On our first night we visited the local beach at Trebarwith Strand, which was so pretty as the sun set and I am sure that we would not have seen it if they had not suggested going. The beach is also good for a rejuvenating early morning swim too.

All in all, I am so glad that we found this hidden gem, lots of lovely memories and we cannot wait to go...

Just returned from a fabulous week at Hendra retreat holiday barns. We were impressed by the high quality finish of the barn. It was terrific to have en-suite facilities for both bedrooms , especially with teenagers. The location is very quiet and rural which suited us as we were happy to travel 15 minutes by car to the beaches and coastal villages. There were plenty of very pleasant pubs serving food within that radius, however if you wanted to walk to a pub/restaurant in the evening it would be quite a hike. The area was calm and secured. The Host and all the people in town are lovely. The place is far away from noise, air and sound pollution. Car charger available in the property is the main reason I booked this property. The EV charger is a slow charger but its good for over night charge and ready for next day drive, but £0.85 per KWh and £1 mandatory charge is too much for that charger. The charges are charged by the EV project external company, nothing to do with the Host. The property have all the facilities you can think off. Its spacious and equipped with all needs. Lots of cooking utensils and clean plates and glass are there to use and dishwasher is available...
