Although this is predominantly a caravan park rather than a campsite, there are still a number of lovely places to pitch a tent. The staff were exceptionally friendly - we arrived after midnight and they came to help us put up our tent. I've never experienced that before. They also opened up the shop early for us in the morning. The only slight grumble were the showers in the [very nice] toilet block went hot/cold/hot/cold quickly, although when I told the site owner she offered to refund the £2 hot water cost and said she would fix it quickly. We used Inglenook Caravan Park as a base for climbing Scafell Pike when all the other sites were fully booked or didn't want us to arrive too late in the evening. I thoroughly recommend...

The better half and myself wanted somewhere to base a weekend of walking from and found this place. We stayed in Treetops owned by Louise who couldn’t have been more helpful. After travelling to the lakes she allowed us to check in slightly early and once there we were created with a lovely basket of goodies which was a lovely touch. We drove the 10 miles to Buttermere the next day where climbed Red Pike, walked along the ridge to High Stile and then on to Haystacks. We headed back to the warmth and comfort of the lodge and spent a lovely Saturday night in front of the tv with some food and a well earned drink. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and will 100%...

Lovely peaceful caravan park. Numbers are not in order so was a bit of a mission to find the van. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and ours is toilet shy. It would be great if they had a little dog toilet pen. Could also do with a little shop for essentials like milk ect. Caravan was excellent value for money very spacious and would love...

The carvan we stayed in - number 36 - was such a lovely lil hide away, was well equipped even down to a doggy toy box, wasnt all that far away from beautiful walks and attractions and was really easy to find. The site itself is lovely and peaceful can honestly say we will be returning for our next visit 😊

Quiet little caravan park right next to the Lakes, local towns and amenities are a short drive away. Friendly staff that live on site. And an old fashioned red telephone box converted into a book/DVD exchange. Even had good 4G coverage! (o2)
