So last weekend me and my love had the pleasure of staying at Kaya for 3 nights in the “NOOK”

This incredible lodge is immersed in the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire on the farm of Malik and Emily who are the best hosts, what these guys have created with this lodge and their SKY HOUSE yurts is just pure magic 💫

The lodge was the ultimate in style meets comfort, these guys had thought of EVERYTHING. We had a cute little welcome gift of fresh eggs, marshmallows for roasting on the open fires and even some scrumptious homemade cake - which was delicious 😋 They’ve created a really useful map on the wall with lots of awesome info on the surrounding areas with walks and places to visit and had even made up a little larder with essential ingredients for the kitchen, so thoughtful!

The outside area and garden is just awesome 🙌🏼 we had biblical downpours for the whole of the 3 days but still got out the dutch pot and cooked up a delight on the fire pit followed by a soak in the wood burning natural hot tub, no nasty chlorine here guys! Oh and not to mention the wonderful free standing bath under the skylights for some star gazing made extra special with the complimentary homemade bath salts….. I mean these guys have taken glamping to a whole new level 💫

I really can’t recommend this place enough and I’m so glad we found it 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 even when it rains this place shows up.

Thank you Malik & Emily for letting us share your beautiful lodge,...

Our stay at Blackhill Farm was nothing but pleasant and accommodating. We stayed at The Nook and from the minute we arrived we fell in love not only with the stunning scenery surrounding the farm but moreover, with the warm feeling of The Nook. Inside, it was beautifully decorated and you could instantly feel the love and care Emily and Malik had shared with the space. They had provided us with a welcome hamper including, eggs, butter, croissants, marshmellows and homemade cake which was delicious. Inside we found a well stocked larder, again, with delicious ingredients. The kithen had everything you could need: a dishwasher, untenils and cooking equiptment and a bluetooth radioThey had also provided us with a book explaining everything you might have questions about, as well as a map directing you to possible activities in the area. This was very useful as the farm is in a quite remote area and we were sure were to go, however, all of Emily and Malik's recommendations were great! Our favourite part was the beautiful garden, which we used every morning and night. The seating area with the swing was amazing and the hot tub was a great addition! Overall, I could not recommend staying at Kaya any more. Emily and Malik's warm hospitailty, as well as they beautiful craftmanship of the both The Nook and the pods are worth to be a part of...

Had the most incredible stay here! Emily was super accommodating from start to finish, making sure it was the most comfortable stay with a thousand personal touches - which made it all the more welcoming! I often dislike staying in accommodation, as I find they are never as clean as the pictures show but this place was so tidy and so so clean, everything felt super fresh. The views surrounding the areas are so beautiful and makes for a very peaceful retreat! We did horse riding and two long hikes and they were both easy to get to with cars and can do hikes straight from the property too! We didn’t have to put the heating on as it stayed just the right temperature and I run cold! The instructions for the hot tub were so simple to follow and actually made for a more unique experience as I’d never used one like this before! The booklets give you great hiking tips and food options - literally everything you can need has been thought of, so if you make use of this and organise massages, riding, hikes beforehand etc you can’t go wrong. Honestly couldn’t recommend this stay enough. Was the perfect weekend away after a very stressful week and Emily’s kind & attentive communication was the cherry on top! Thank you...

Having spotted Kaya on The Times, we booked the Sky House as a last minute two night booking to enjoy on our way back home to London. Everything was pretty seamless - from our initial enquiry, through to booking, arrival and the duration of our stay. The drive to Blackhill Farm is beautiful, and the Sky House is something pretty special with views of the rolling hills. Emily & Malik have been thoughtful in their vision, making things cosy, comfortable and easy - trolleys to take your luggage up the path to the yurts, breakfast treats, firewood, art supplies, hooks and nooks to hang belongings and a beautiful ceiling window which was perfect for stargazing from bed. Our favourite touches were the outdoor shower and inside roll top bath, which we enjoyed the beautiful view from with with a glass of bubbly. The idea is to switch off from the outside world - and we did just that! We didn’t leave for the duration of the stay, enjoying baths, naps on the hammock and making our way through several books. Will most definitely visit again if we are lucky enough to!

Myself and my wife were gifted this wonderful getaway as a birthday treat from our friends & also to celebrate our 6 months married! We couldn't have asked for better hosts, they left the most perfect little treats around the yurt, including my favourite Marshmallows that we toasted by the fire. The attention to detail is spectacular, Emily and Malik have thought of absolutely everything, I especially loved the style of the kitchen - equipped with everything you could possibly need. I'm also a huge Le Creuset lover & so to discover some wonderful items in the kitchen got me smiling! Myself and my wife regularly travel to different shepherds huts, treehouses and little UK getaways and this has to be in our top 10! We posted a few videos and pictures on Instagram during our stay and we've had over 60 people message to ask where we were.Perfect location, perfect scenes, perfect tranquility! We will absolutely be visiting again. Thankyou so much for having us!xxxx

A much needed relaxing weekend in nature, with all the comforts. We stayed in Pumla yurt, which has been thoughtfully designed for a cosy and comfortable stay, slept really well and enjoyed the stargazing window and warmth of the woodburner. The yurt is set in a dark sky site, and despite forgetting my equipment I still managed to shoot a decent photo of the Milky Way on my phone (see photos). Being so close to the Cat's Back (Black Hill) meant amazing nature walks straight from the yurt, made easy by following the route Kaya at Blackhill Farm have set out on strava. A surreal experience relaxing in a hot bath outside afterwards and listening to the owls in the field. Emily and Malik were helpful during our stay, and we enjoyed the local treats and well stocked pantry they provided. Really felt like a quiet retreat and we had such a wonderful stay.
