Ladyston Barn — Hotel in Great Britain

Where to start, I feel like I have been dreaming for the last 4 days, when we arrived and walked through the door, I was just blown away by that huge stunning window, I excitedly walked around and was like a child in Lapland. I cannot tell you how quickly we were relaxed, we come from a 100 mph life style and finding to time to relax is practically impossible and even when we are abroad I never feel this relaxed, the barn is spotless , the facilities are superb.

The hot tub & sauna are just like the star on top of the tree, after 30 mins using these then shower you feel like you have had a spa day, the shower is great .

Sit back get the fire on and pour a drink , you are in heaven. Kyle and Gemma have thought of everything.

The bed is also comfy, you even have charges at each side, & a fluffy mat to step into in the Morning. Just before you get your robe on.

If you like walking, there is a fantastic walk Lady Mary’s walk 5 miles , it is 20 min drive away, park at the distillery, pack a drink and snack, and make sure you have correct footwear. Honestly book this and you will not regret it...

My wife surprised me with a short break here for my 40th and it was the perfect little getaway we needed. The barn is fully equipped with everything you need, the welcome pack has all the local amenities listed for you and instructions for the various entertainment systems. The bed was so comfortable, I’m a person that struggles to sleep in hotel beds but this was more comfortable than my own! The games room is a really nice touch and something we took full advantage of. Everything was spotless, I can’t put it into words just how pleasant this little getaway is. Trixi and Tobias (the owners cats) were both delightful and this is coming from a guy who is allergic to cats and doesn’t like to interact with them. Honestly can’t wait to return...

The barn itself was decorated to a high standard. Light and airy and felt so spacious. The fairy lights behind the hot tub were instagram worthy! But the highlight for us………. The games room. So much to do and so much fun.

The hosts go above and beyond and you can tell they take pride in what they do.

From the moment I opened the barn door to a lovely welcome of chocolates and bubbles to celebrate our wedding anniversary, I instantly knew I booked the right place.

I honest couldn’t fault it. I just loved every second of it....
