I recently had the pleasure of staying in the farms charming hut for a romantic getaway to celebrate my partner's birthday. I must say, the hospitality we received exceeded all expectations and made our experience truly unforgettable.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine kindness from the owner. Their attentiveness and politeness created a welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. It was clear that they genuinely cared about our comfort and enjoyment throughout our stay.

What a wonderful spot on earth. If you’re after some peace and tranquility, this is the place for you. Just outside Richmond and only a 20 minute walk or 5 minute car ride into town . Or get a taxi for about £6. A beautiful Georgian and in parts much earlier farmhouse set in the most beautiful spot. Gill’s rescue farm animals ( chickens, a goat, a goose and sheep) will great you on arrival and Gill is the perfect host. Attentive but not overbearing. The room was spacious and clean with wonderful views and had a well stocked tea tray with good quality goods. Even a little dish with sweets! There was a choice of different teas, instant and ground coffee and fresh milk which you could replenish anytime from the small fridge in the lounge downstairs which also housed a nice little “tuck shop”. Second time I have gone back, visited last year(2023) for my dear friends wedding which was on the farm. Wonderful wedding. Loved my stay so much I came back this year August 2024. This beautiful place just recharges the soul. As you drive up the views will take your breath away. Then theres the warm welcome by your lovely hostess Gill and her friends. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Gill goes above and beyond to make your stay amazing, it feels like your second home. The breakfasts are amazing. I have had the pleasure of staying in all the rooms, including the Shepards hut which are clean, comfy and cozy. The town is a 5 minute drive, everything is close by, there are some beautiful walks and loads of places to see. The beach is an hours drive from there.
