What an awesome place to stay and relax and enjoy the surroundings. Spotlessly clean accommodation and very well equipt, the owners have thought of everything to the finest detail. Our dogs always come with us on holiday and to have extensive woodland and a private lake (which can be fished) they were in doggie heaven. A covered large swimming pool with a well maintained lawn wrapped round makes it ideal to take in the the breathtaking view of the sun setting across the expansive countryside vista with a mountain back drop....simply stunning. Our accommodation also had a barbecue (which was very clean) and all the utensils required. The bed was supper comfy and a choice of pillow was a nice touch as we are both very particular. I use my laptop for work and am always dubious of rural internet cover but, to my delight the speeds were as good as being in London. We shall definitely book here again, there is so much to explore with the wonderful coastal walks, beaches and coves, forests and mountains. We ate out at a curry house in St. Clears (recommended by the holiday cottage owners) which has been a national finalist for some years and is well worth a visit if you like an authentic curry as we do. We have stayed at many self catering and hotels throughout the UK and the value for money here is exceptional. Must remember to pack my fishing rod next time. Thank you, keep up the good work you are setting a high standard for others to...
Read moreMy family and I cannot fault this place. The accomodation was first rate, Swallow Cottage is very well appointed and equipped, and met all our needs. The dishwasher and washing machine/dryer were an unexpected bonus, as was the welcome tray of tea, coffee, & milk and the cleaning goodies supplied.
The location is quite central and fairly near to the beaches and other places of interest. Wiseman's Bridge beach was especially pleasant and not so busy as Saundersfoot or Tenby.
Our dogs were also welcome and had plenty of walks around the grounds.
Our grandchildren virtually lived in the swimming pool!

Read moreWe’ve had the perfect stay at Maesgwynne. We stayed with 4 in the Sandpiper cottage which was perfect size for us. We brought our dog and it was perfect for her too. The grounds are dog friendly and very big! There is a lake surrounded by woods where we had our evening walks with the dog. Very peaceful. The cottages are very private even though they are right next to each other. It’s not noisy at all and each terrace is private. Cottage was very clean when we arrived and check in was easy. Very friendly owners!
