We’re staying in Dulverton and saw this little B and B at the side of the road where we were going for a walk. After our walk on the first day, we popped in for a pot of earl grey and a slab of lemon drizzle cake….. it was delicious!! So the next day after having had lunch at a pub, we decided to go back and try the scones for our dessert…. Best decision ever. The cakes are freshly made on site and our scones came out still warm From the oven, a VERY generous pot of clotted cream and large pot of jam on the side (the lady owner even said just to ring the bell if we wanted more cream but that would have been tooooo greedy 😂). Read moreCamped in Dulverton again for Whitsun this year and HAD to walk through the woods (it's the law!!) to this lovely, small, quirky tearoom (all tables are outside). |There were 4 of us and we all had a cream tea (plus cake!) and it was all fresh and delicious. You get offered extra jam and cream but what was supplied was more than enough. You won’t be disappointed. Nice matching china and cutlery. Generous bowls of jam and clotted cream, and delicious warm scones to die for. £7.50 well spent.
