Our recent holiday at Moorside Farm was absolutely fantastic. The cottage is in a great location for visiting so much that the Dales have to offer, and Claire and Jason are the perfect hosts - friendly and very helpful. The cottage itself is spacious and has been beautifully converted to make it a great place to spend time with family and friends. When we arrived there was a thoughtful welcome package for us and also one for our dog too - very much appreciated. The cottage was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed plus (and this is unusual) plenty of fridge and freezer space for all the food we needed for 7 people for a week, thus saving valuable time for holiday activities rather than shopping constantly. The enclosed garden area meant that we could all relax with a cup of tea or a beer in the sunshine whilst knowing our dog was safe. Visits from the owners beautiful cat, Ice, made the experience even nicer. The Dales area itself has so much to offer, from stunning walks all around (Grassington to Grass Wood along the River Wharf was a particular favourite) to the wonders that are Malham Cove, Brimham Rocks and Fountains Abbey and all the other interesting and unique historical and natural sights and villages which abound. A week was definitely not long enough, I actually doubt that a year would be! All in all I would highly recommend Moorside Farm as a really great base for getting together and visiting this wonderful part of the UK. We certainly hope to be returning and this would be our no 1 choice of location.

We won two nights at Moorside Farm in a competition before Christmas and it was lovely to spend them now. Even though we only live a few miles away, the break was wonderful and we spent time walking and swimming (in a very cold Wharfe) and just chilling The cottage has absolutely everything you'd need for a longer stay with a well equipped kitchen and some really lovely touches. The bathrooms are lovely and it's great to have an ensuite in one room and two extra bathrooms with bath and showers. Great if staying with friends and family The cottage is decorated very tastefully to a very high standard and it's warm and cosy. The location is wonderful with Skipton and Pately Bridge nearby and Harrogate a little further afield and of course the wonderful Dales right their on your doorstep. There was nothing we needed help with but Claire and Jason made it clear they were there if we did. I can imagine it's beautiful to sit outside on a warm night with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down. Thank you for our stay, we loved it! Gill and Mark Connors

Thank you to Claire and Jason for an amazing family holiday which we had planned to celebrate my mum's birthday. Moorside farm holiday cottage was very well equipped, very comfortable and Claire and Jason went out of their way to ensure my mum had a comfortable stay even though she had some mobility issues; nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was spacious and the location was a great base to explore some of the surrounding beautiful scenery within Yorkshire. I would not hesitate to recommend Moorside Farm holiday cottage to family and friends and would definitely like to plan a return visit at some point in the future. Thank you for a memorable holiday - Helen and family.

A week over Christmas 2022 at Moorside Farm Holiday Cottage, Grassington, with our immediate family. Moorside was spotlessly clean and very well equiped, providing everything we needed for a perfect stay. The lounge area was spacious with large comfortable settees and a very welcoming log burning stove. The kitchen was fully kitted out with a spacious dining room off, as well as a scullery with large fridge, freezer, washing machine etc, everything for a home from home holiday. Upstairs the four bedrooms, providing sleeping accommodation for eight, suited us perfectly, naturally we bagged the en suite. An excellent family bathroom, along with a separate toilet/shower room, more than met family needs. The fitting out and decor of the property is superb, with attention to detail around every corner. A very well designed and laid out holiday rental. Over the holidays we managed to visit one or two of the local pubs in the area, but, to be honest, the log burning stove, complimented by the underfloor heating, kept drawing us back, so cosy, no rushing off out. There's plenty of secure off road parking. Excellent walks from the front door, not always available due to some bad weather, but when it's fine take advantage. Our family dog was also made very welcome, he even got his own welcome pack and bed. Great hosts, (Claire and Jason) next door, nothing was too much trouble to them. Moorside Farm Holiday Cottage is clearly their labour of love and it shows! Highly...

After staying in the cottage for a few weeks, I can guarantee that there’s no other place quite like it! The house was very cozy and a great fit for my friends and I.

All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and tidy, and the living room was a great place to unwind in after being out for the whole day. The cottage was also equipped with supplies that could easily be forgotten, like dishwasher tablets and laundry capsules. The kitchen also had a variety of pans and pots that were useful when cooking!

The hospitality was another highlight. Claire and Jason were incredible hosts; they were always willing to help us out when we came across any issues, even if they didn’t need to (like issues with transportation, or dealing with very wet boots and jackets after a rainy day). They were always very friendly when we came across them in the mornings and evenings. Meeting their cats and being greeted by them was another thing that I really enjoyed!

I highly recommend staying in the cottage. The cottage itself, the hosts, and the beautiful views make it...
