We stayed at Morton of Pitmilly on our wedding weekend! It was super close to our wedding venue Kinkell Byre and was great for getting all our family and friends together. My husband and I both stayed in the resort but my husband stayed the first night in Farrier cottage at the courtyard and I stayed in Beechwood in the Steading which were far enough apart to keep us from seeing one another! Beechwood was so spacious and perfect for all the girls getting their hair and makeup done in the morning of the wedding with the hair stylists and makeup artists! Favourite features - all rooms had ensuites which was great.. good hairdryers, Scottish fine soaps toiletries and a separate wine fridge!! The Steading properties were so sociable - the morning after we were all able to sit out on the patios and chat in the sunshine overlooking the sunflower fields. Would recommend for future wedding parties and for family get togethers. Thanks for a fab stay ❤️ (Photo credit: Rosie Davison Photography)

Just back from a 4 night stay in the lookout (1 bedroom apt in the steading) and i had a wonderful time. Everything was spotless, all basic essentials provided in the kitchen, complimentary toiletries and wifi and the whole place is peaceful and tranquil. Theres also a dvd player, surround sound and ipod dock. The nature trails around the resort are well maintained with lots of paths to explore. The onsite shop stocks lots of goodies and is open 24/7. Staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful. Theres even a gym, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, small but lovely swimming pool, sauna/steam room, putting and croquet greens, outdoor kids play area and snooker/pool tables! Highly recommended!

We had a short stay in the 'Old Dairy '. Well equipped and comfortable. We used the pool which was quite small but good enough for our purposes. At the time due to Covid we couldn't use the steam room or the sauna. There were plenty of trails for running and dog walking, which we used a lot. We weren't aware it was self check in, no one told us. I'm not sure how we would have found out if some one hasn't been leaving the office when we arrived. It was also the only place we've ever stayed where basic tea and coffee making facilities weren't provided. After a long car journey a cup of tea is nice. We then had to go out to buy tea. There is a small shop on site but it is very expensive.

Just back from an amazing three night day at Morton of Pitmilly. As a family group of eight we stayed in Beechwood which was ideal. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped. Everyone was happy with their own rooms and en-suite shower rooms which meant we could all get ready in the morning without waiting for showers to be free. |Having booked lots of activities in advance on the website our family group had a little timetable so we could see each day what was on offer. The indoor tennis ( with ball machine) proved to be a great hit with everyone. Apart from the booked activities there was so much more to do at MOP that you would never be bored. The larder onsite proved to be very useful for some items we had forgotten to bring along. We also really loved the food from the Pop-Up on the Friday evening. It was freshly made and very tasty and catered well for our vegan and gluten free guests. |We also hired the pizza oven which proved to be a brilliant success. One of my sons made the dough and it was a fun activity to load up the pizza’s and cook them ourselves. The staff at MOP are wonderful and nothing is too much for them to help you with. You should go....

Dearest Morton of Pitmilly Team, dear new guests. I would like to share our amazing experience at Morton of Pitmilly. We had our international wedding party staying at yours for days and we just had the most amazing time ever. It was the perfect venue, for our amazing wedding at Falside Mill. The night before the wedding we gathered nearly the whole wedding party at yours, enjoying a Mexican Dinner Pop up, introduced some ceilidh dancing outdoors, laughed, had lovely drinks a perfect warm up for the guests to get to know each other before the wedding, enjoyed the breakfast rounds, the playground for the kiddies, the swimming pool, the amazing view, walks to the beach and of course your heartwarming service, BBQ outdoors after the weeding. People had a blast walking home from Falside Mill or enjoyed a very reliable Platinum Cab ride. We truly had a wonderful wonderful time. The rooms were super nice, clean, it was just awesome and everyone loved it. Thank you very much Ailidh, Diane, all of the team for providing a place to make life long memories. Sending you lot‘s of love from Switzerland. Best Stefanie and Graham (who enjoyed all the chats with you guys - including the...
