We’ve just had two nights at Nettwood Farm Campsite in the Woodland Pod - it was the best weekend. We loved the pod, it was perfect very well equipped. The wood fired hot tub was a dream - although in this 30 degree heat wave we didn’t bother lighting it and enjoyed it as a cool dip plunge pool instead to cool off each afternoon and eve after some gorgeous walks around the area! We aren’t ‘campers’ but this Glamping pod was wonderful. We forgot to bring tea bags, but nipped to the Tesco nearby on the Friday night, and also didn’t bring enough towels but this was sorted by Debbie and we collected what we needed that night too! Pizzas were great!l too! All in all it was a fantastic weekend away - we only live in Bristol so it was about 45-50 min drive but felt like we were a million miles away! A proper break celebrating our 7 year wedding anniversary and great to be somewhere different in this heat wave and able to cool off :) Thank You!...

Our first time camping with our children in a very large tent and the first time the husband and I have been in about 10 years. This is a beautiful camp site. It has 2 fields which means you can space out but still lovely and small to be able to see the kids wherever they have roamed. There are two play areas, a small one and a larger one in the woods. The showers are the best my in laws (experienced campers have ever seen), and the toilets are older but perfectly fine and everything is very clean. The owners were friendly and made a special trip down the field to say Hi to us. You can book to have a fire pit and they bring it round to you in a big front loading tractor with wood as well. Just lovely. This is quite an exposed site right on top of the Mendips so i can imagine in bad weather it would be windy but the weather was beautiful when we went and the view of Chew Valley Lake is stunnning. Well...

The best views of the Chew valley lake and surrounding area. Located on the Mendip hills with fantastic walks within a short distance this campsite ticks all of the boxes. Well maintained grounds with plenty of space and electricity points if needed. Toilets and washing up areas and very modern showers all maintained and cleaned regularly. Drinking water, chemical toilet disposal, recycling and bins provided. They also offer some special extras like free WiFi, pizza night, children play area, den making in the woods and beautiful alpacas to meet. They even supply free firepits and wood. (£5 for kindling available at farm) The owners were very welcoming and greeted us on arrival, gave us a little rundown of where everything was and then left us to enjoy our break. It was so peaceful and friendly. We can't wait to revisit and have already recommended to friends and family. Tip: take...

Just come back from our 3rd stay at Nettwood Farm, really love it there, a great family run site in the Mendips, with beautiful views over Chew Valley Lake, and on a clear day you can see over to Wales, it's so peaceful, and everyone we've met has been super friendly, great facilities including a communal fridge, showers/toilets, sinks for washing up. Fire pits and wood are provided if you want them Pizzas cooked on site on a Friday night were delicious, and hot drinks and pastries at breakfast, at the weekends Highly recommend staying here, they have their own little forestry as well as alpacas. Debbie and Jeremy are so welcoming friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. See you all next year x

The view is sensational! We had a great time despite the poor weather. The facilities are very good. In the lake field there is an older toilet block which is as expected but the shower area is extremely well presented. Home from home cubicles which are well designed and cleaned regularly. The washing up area is also very well maintained and COVID clean. Jeremy and Debbie are a pleasure to talk to and we even managed to help with the lama feeding which was very special. They are a lovely couple that like to help. Highly recommend
