We don't really know where to begin our review of Nightsky glamping for our wedding weekend as there are too many highlights that we could talk about. But we can honestly say that our wedding being the best day ever is largely down to Caitlin, Angie, Derek and the rest of the team at Nightsky.

It was hard to not fall in love with the site when we first went to look at it - the glamping site itself is nestled in a quiet and private location, and we knew we would be spoilt for choice for picture opportunities (our photographer was thrilled!)

One of the main appeals for us was to have the option for the whole site from Friday to Monday - as we had a lot of people traveling from all over it meant that we'd be able to enjoy everyone's company for that little while longer and it would really feel like a big celebration. It was immediately obvious that the nightsky team were incredibly accommodating and friendly - nothing was too big of an ask, and having the option to have as little or as much involvement in the set up was absolutely what we were after. The process was made much easier by completely transparent pricing too - no hidden costs or last minute additions, everything was laid out for us which made budgeting a lot easier. The fact that the weddings aren't run throughout the year also made it feel a bit more tailored to us.

Caitlin and the team really put us at ease throughout the process and made it clear that they would bring all of our ideas together and they made it happen. They offered a wine tasting before the wedding itself and during this time gave us a lot of pointers and tips on how the day is typically run, which was really helpful. By the wedding day they felt like guests that celebrated with us (albeit the type of guests that just made the day run smoothly and anticipated what we needed throughout the day!)

We had brilliant recommendations for caterers (Garni catering, Burger bay) and opted for nightsky's own woodfired pizzas on the wedding night - again, would highly recommend these!

We've had so many compliments from our guests about the standard of accomodation too, and a few regrets from those who couldn't stay after seeing what they missed out on! Many saying that they actually forgot they were in safari tents as it felt so homely and cosy and very well-equipped, even the dogs loved it! We stayed in one of the cottages onsite too which was perfectly set up, particularly for getting ready the morning of the wedding. We were really lucky with the weather on the weekend, but glad that the rain wouldn't have really made a difference!

All in all we had the most wonderful experience at nightsky and would do anything to be able to re-live it! Can't speak highly enough of the team and the work they put in to make our day the best it could be. Already booked to come back for our anniversary. Diolch am fod yn rhan o'n diwrnod arbennig!...

This place is an absolute gem, so peaceful with beautiful views and a really well thought out site. The tents are set out in a staggered fashion facing the same way so no-one overlooks anybody which made our space feel very private. ||Its the little things that made this stay so wonderful - for example the lights on the decking and the hot tub automatically turn off at 23.00 so the site becomes very quiet, great for people trying to get young children to sleep. The tub also turns back on at 08.00 and is lovely and warm by 09.00 - I am not sure how I am going to cope without my morning dip and coffee!|There are lots of blankets, hot water bottles and heaters for keeping warm at night although we didn't find it cold at all despite the weather. |The separate shower and loo were a wonderful addition, no queuing for showers or finding the way across a field in the dark with a torch at 03.00. There is also a loo in the tent itself which is great for larger families. |The laundrette is ace, massive machines and the dryers actually work properly and are pretty cheap to use. ||The safari tent is huge as is the log burner, and the kitchen is pretty spacious with full fridge and separate freezer. It was spotless when we arrived with logs provided for the burner and the hot tub on and lovely and warm. |The decking space is big with two camping chairs provided, as well as a BBQ, picnic table and outside burner for heat. ||The owners were rarely on site but very responsive if needed for anything, which again added to the privacy of guests. ||We fell in love with this place, this is the best holiday we have had whether UK or abroad and I could not find fault with anything - it really is amazing!||One thing to note for electric car owners - Wales does not have many fast chargers, the nearest we found was Porthmadog next to Tesco which is about 25 mins away...

Amazing place, we stayed at the great bear safari tent. It was me my partner 2 dogs and father in law. |Had spacious living area, tv, kitchen, fridge and freezer, oven, microwave, kettle.|Spar shop and Lidl are only a ten minute drive away. ||Plenty of beaches within close proximity. |Alpacas 🦙 where a dream to feed and meet. |My dogs loved the spacious enclosed area. My spaniel was hardly on the lead but if your dog struggles with recall etc then they have already equipped a tie on lead to make you feel more comfortable that your dog can’t escape, clip it onto your dogs harness and they have a good area to play without being so worried they will run off to explore.||The hot tub was always hot, I believe the owners had outdoor lights and hot tub on a timer but it worked well as we all went in the hot tub every evening after a long day out. ||We stayed for 4 nights. we brought food with us but there was a nice pub around 8 min drive away called the sun inn. There’s a pizza place at the bottom of the hill that do take in or take out. ||Shower facility was outside but never a problem. Always hot. No issues. ||Only problem was that there was SOOO MANY earwigs that we ended up bringing some home with us as they must of crawled into our bags. Maybe some repellent to calm them down maybe. I know it’s a tent and bugs love that but their was a-lot. Trying to get into our food etc. however this is nothing on the owners maybe just look into something that can slow them down 😆 ||All in all a GREAT STAY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND I WOULD STAY AGAIN, beautiful scenery. Lovely place in...

We stayed in one of the safari tents at Nightsky Glamping for a friend’s wedding, and it truly made the entire weekend feel like a luxury retreat in nature. The tent was beautifully styled, spacious, and incredibly comfortable – a perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. One of the best features was the added convenience of having our own toilet inside the tent, along with a second one just outside. It made all the difference, especially for a group getting ready for a wedding! The real highlight, though, was the private hot tub – soaking under the stars after the celebrations was such a memorable experience. From the peaceful surroundings to the thoughtful details inside the tent, everything was perfectly done. Nightsky Glamping was more than just a place to stay – it was part of the celebration itself. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and luxurious outdoor experience.

Had such a fab time. We booked last minute and stayed in a Safari tent. So spacious inside. Sleeps 7. We were a family of 4 so both kids got their own room. Spotlessly clean. Warm inside and had wall heaters and a wood burner if got a bit cold. Kids loved the hot tub. There are Alpacas that you can feed if you buy food from reception. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need. Great location. 20 min walk to a lovely pub or a quick drive to Abersoch village. Close to Hell mouth which was nice to walk down. Highly recommend. Would love to stay again.

We’ve just got back from a fantastic weekend at nightsky for a wedding, held at nightsky and all I can say is if your thinking of a wedding venue then this is the place to go! From Friday when got there until we left today we felt welcomed. Everything you want or need is in the tent, you don’t need to worry about finding logs and kindling as it was all included, on the outside you have the hot tub, bbq and wood burner. We definitely want to be back again who knows we could do it again for the 1st wedding anniversary!
