Booked to stay in the Socach pod with a hot tub designed for 2 people. The pod features enough kitchenware and utensils for 2, as well as kitchen roll, dish soap, teabags, coffee, sugar and salt and pepper.

Also features a separate toilet and shower with towels and shower gels provided. The pod opens onto a semi enclosed decking area where the hot tub is along with seating. Couldn't get the underfloor heating to work but a radiator was provided, aswell as some board games. The smart TV and Alexa are a nice touch.

The location is tucked away in some horse fields, providing peace and quiet with great views. There is a shared patio area but no BBQ (I presume this is seasonal as the tools were provided in the kitchen). A shared sauna is also available.

Before arriving, a message was sent with the key code and extra information, more of which can be found in the welcome pack. Any problems they are quick to reply on WhatsApp. At the time a later check out was available at £10 per hour, but this must be arranged beforehand and might not be available all the time.

There is one assigned parking space for each pod and the local town of Brora is a great place to explore with shops and pubs and a nice beach. Only minor things were the creaky bed frame and bare in mind the sun rises facing into this...

My partner and I stayed at the NC500 Pods to celebrate our anniversary, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning, peaceful scenery of the Scottish Highlands. The pod itself was the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury. It was immaculately clean, surprisingly spacious, and beautifully designed with a gorgeous wooden feature wall. The thoughtful "Happy Anniversary" banner and a lovely bouquet of flowers were waiting for us, which was such a special touch that made our celebration feel truly acknowledged. The amenities were fantastic. The kitchenette had everything we needed, and the living area with the comfy sofa was perfect for relaxing. However, the absolute highlight was the private hot tub! Sinking into the warm, bubbling water while gazing out at the rolling hills was pure bliss and the ultimate way to unwind after a day of exploring. If you are looking for a romantic, luxurious, and serene getaway on the North Coast 500 route, look no further. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. We highly recommend it and are already dreaming of our...

The pod was nice and clean and modern but would have preferred a partition between living room and bedroom. Also a bathroom with a door would have been more convenient. Location is very nice, quiet with lovely views. Wi-Fi ok, went on and off and Alexa lights etc not working. There was no underfloor heating as stated on the website. I did let them know about this so hopefully be updated. Also the heating hadn’t been put on for our arrival so the pod was very chilly. Heaters took ages to heat up. Not enough bath towels for using in shower and hot tub, a couple of extra ones would have been good. The sauna didn’t work at all. Brora is quiet but it was January, Co op has most things you need. Chinese takeaway was nice and fish and chips in Golspie were lovely. Nice wee break just missing...

Absolutely gorgeous! We arrived about 3:30pm and were quick to jump in our hot tub. We got a couple of great welcome messages from the owners with handy information prior to arrival and everything has been smooth sailing. Parking is easy with allocated spots for each pod. We were assigned Socach pod and it is gorgeous. Everything is easily accessible and it’s really well equipped with a detailed welcome manual. You’re a very short drive away to Brora with two convenience stores, several restaurants and 2 service stations. We’d pre-booked dinner at The Curing Yard (amazing) and it was such an easy drive in. There’s heaps of passing spots on the drive in and out so it’s really easily navigable for non-locals. Can’t fault the stay at all and would come back any time!
