We have just spent this last week over New Year/2025 at No 7. Liz & Nick have made the cottage very cosy and comfortable. Home from Home. There is nothing we could want for as they had provided everything we could possibly need to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They certainly set the standard for a great welcome and comfort. With tea/coffee & biscuits on arrival and plenty to keep us going throughout our stay, warm underfloor heating and additional electric panel heaters we were toasty warm. The cottage is nicely furnished with crisp clean bedding on a most comfortable bed. Top marks for cleanliness too. There is a lovely garden with fabulous views over fields and although we didnāt sit outside due to the time of year, it is a lovely covered space with seating and pretty lighting. The shower is over the bath and powerful with constant hot water. There are two parking spaces to the side of the cottage. There is so much to see and do around the area.. just a most beautiful part of Cornwall. The cottage is well located for walking & exploring Helford and the Lizard. The information pack was very helpful with lots of recommendations to eat out or walk or for beaches etc. we had a lovely walk to Porthallow cove which took us about an hourāish from the cottage. We used the OS map provided in the information pack. Very easy. There is a pub there but due to the time of year it was shut. Roskillys is a must for their food and ice cream of course. Our roast dinner was delicious. The Paris Hotel at Coverack has great food and carvery. We booked both of these places online. St Keverne has a well stocked Spa and we loved that there are home grown vegetables sold by the side of the road near No 7 and another stall just outside of St Keverne. Just make sure you have coins /cash for the honesty box payment. As you can tell we have loved staying at No 7. We hope you do too. We wouldnāt hesitate it staying again if our travels take...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSuperb! The owners Liz and Nick are guest centric and their accommodation reflects this completely. We holiday in cottages at least 3 times a year and this sits at the top of our overall experience. I have listed my top 10 reasons why below: Before we arrived we had friendly and extremely informative info. For example a Google map with pinned beach's, personal recommendations of where to eat and my favourite SUP launching areas. 100% dog friendly and enclosed garden, we have a small Jack Russel who likes to find little holes to explore. Thoughtfulness in pillow choices, not just a standard pillow offered. The VIEW from the patio is stunning š The porch area over the patio makes the outside space an extention of the cottage, useable even when it's drizzling Smart TV and good Wi-Fi. We take our chrome cast when holidaying in cottages for those cosy nights in but we didn't need it as we could beam straight to the TV. For a small cottage, the dishwasher was GREAT! Clean and efficient. Only 10mins from lots of different beaches and coastline. The cottage has a good OS map we used every day. The whole accommodation is dog friendly and it felt like that, messages from the owners is understanding that dogs do sit on furniture and beds but to put blankets down. Our dog is old and no longer sleeps on furniture but it was felt that we were trusted as dog owners that we will look after the place. So, so peaceful, loved just hearing the birds and the pheasants. If you like to get away from it all, this is the place. The underfloor heating was excellent, we never felt cold.
We absolutely would return. Do not hesitate to book, you will not be...

You can tell Liz and Nick love this cottage and want you to have a perfect stay and love it too. We were 2 adults and our 2 girls (18 & 14), so 4 adults really plus a chunky Labrador! The space works so well when you use it to its full potential. The girls enjoyed time reading by the window in their room. āInsta-gramableā is how it was described! Chris enjoyed the outside space in the mornings with a coffee and a book, listening to the sheep and the birds. Spending most of our days out and about (Kennack Sands, Coverack, Cadgwith, Kynance Cove, Lizard, Falmouth, Helford Passageā¦have a cream tea at The Holy Mackerel at Helford Passage, they close at 3pm donāt be late!!) we came home to fairy lights in the garden and a well equipped kitchen to cook dinner in.
