Nunland Hillside Lodges — Hotel in Great Britain

This has to be the best lodges I've stayed in ever. Two minutes drive from the bypass but you'd never know it as the site is so quiet and secluded. The lodges are set on a hillside with stunning countryside views. Lodges are equipped to a high standard with top end furnishings etc. Everything you could ever need for a home from home holiday is what you'll find here. There's a huge hot tub with countryside views for each lodge and it feels secluded. Lovely patio furniture that sits beside the hot tub. Two fabulously comfortable bedrooms with televisions. The master bedroom has a very comfy double bed and leads into a large walk in wardrobe and ensuite large shower. The single room has two single beds and mirrored wardrobes and a jack and Jill door to the family bathroom. The lounge has a large sumptuous corner suite, large tv and ambient fire and a large dining table and chairs. The kitchen has everything you could ever need and in the vestibule there is storage cupboards which also house a washer/drier. The owners have though about their guests in all ways and have left things like kitchen cloths, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. As a family of three, we spent Christmas (2021) week in the Cairn Valley lodge and it was excellent. The lodge is very very well equipped, they are spotlessly clean, spacious to stay for 7 days - had seen someone complain about space? It's not a three bedroom house you're moving into, its a lodge..? Bedrooms were roomy, have stayed in smaller hotel rooms. The attic room upstairs is ideal for additional space. The hot tub is always hot, which was great. The supermarkets are within 10 minutes. There isn't much you can do on the grounds as it's just other lodges around. The staff are pleasant, very well looked after and nothing is too much bother. Thanks for a great stay. We enjoyed our stay in a beautiful, comfortable, modern lodge. The site is spacious and well maintained, in a quiet location about 6 miles from Dumfries. Pleasant, helpful staff. Good COVID precautions and the lodge was spotlessly clean. We were lucky to have several clear night skies, so enjoyed stargazing from the hot tub!
