Oak Tree Hideaway — Hotel in Great Britain

What an absolute hidden gem! I recently had the pleasure of staying here overnight with family, and we honestly couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment we arrived, it was clear just how much love, care, and thought has been poured into creating this special place.

It felt instantly homely — the kind of place where you can kick off your shoes and truly relax. Everything we could possibly need was provided, and the attention to detail was just spot on. Little extras like the dressing gowns, super handy local info booklets, and that dreamy hot tub with its peaceful view made it all feel like a mini luxury retreat.

We were also touched by the thoughtful birthday touches – the banner, the bubbly, and the cake were such a lovely surprise and made the celebration even more memorable.

When looking for a places to stay for a night away for my anniversary Oak Tree Hideaway looked perfect! When we arrived it’s off a private driveway and is in the perfect location. We made great use of the electric hot tub which was always at the perfect temperature. The inside of the hideaway is so cosey and feels really homely. You have the joys of Netflix and all other apps too when watching TV. To top it off, we were left with a bottle of Prosecco and a chocolate fondue (which me and my partner demolished!) depending on the time of year the price varies but for the money we paid it way exceeded my expectations as it was much cheaper than others and had better facilities. A lovely little spot! Booked for a night away with my husband and dog and it was incredibly relaxing and peaceful.

The cottage itself has beautiful decor and has everything you need. The kitchen is stocked well with cooking utensils, living room has comfy sofas and smart tv and bedroom has some windows in the roof so you can see the stars on a clear night as you lie in bed.

Outside there's a huge hot tub and an enclosed garden, perfect for dogs to run around. The hosts met us on arrival and as we departed to check how our stay had been - really friendly! We also got shown around their new stable conversion which is also on the same site and was amazing.
