We loved staying at this lovely B&B in Cruden Bay. Parking is along a side street, as it does not have designated private parking. But there is no issue with parking along the side street. Jenny, the owner, has set up house and room access using a key code that she emails to you prior to your arrival. No more worry about carrying keys with you. Both rooms are up a set of stairs and are on opposite sides of the house, which results in a quiet environment. We had the smaller room, which was actually plenty of space as there is a closet where one can store suitcases, and it includes drawers for clothing as well as hangers for items. The modern ensuite bathroom has a walk in shower that has plenty of hot water. Towels were large and fluffy. No washcloths. There was body/hair shampoo. Wi fi had a strong signal and private connection. The bed was quite comfortable. There was a television, but we never turned it on. A hostess tray featured a kettle with tea/coffee and packaged cookies. A small chocolate treat was left for us each evening near our bed. Breakfast was downstairs in a designated room and we had several choices. Home made bread with home made jam was a real treat. Also, a fresh fruit salad was an included option as well. Jenny greeted us each morning with a lovely smile and hearty good morning! We really were made to feel as if we were special guests. I heartily give my recommendation for staying here. There is a restaurant/pub just next door that serves delicious food, and one can easily walk out to the lovely Slains Castle.

To put it briefly, it was a wonderful experience to have stayed here. An inconspicuous house from the outside but a stunner on the inside. Every detail of the furnishings is not only a testament to excellent taste, but also to exceptional quality. Not only is the bed super comfortable, but in the bathroom, for example, only the latest and best has been installed. Silent toilet lid on high-quality Duravit porcelain, heavy glass door to the spacious shower with quality fittings. This is perhaps only noticeable at second glance, as the rooms are elegantly decorated without appearing ostentatious. Not to mention the breakfast: freshly and lovingly prepared and served in an extremely well-arranged manner. You are spoiled here. This is warm hospitality at its best!

I think this is probably the best b and b I’ve ever stayed in. Certainly as as as value for money goes it is the best. Our room was fabulous with lots of extras. A great bathroom too. Breakfast was also superb with a great choice on offer. Our host was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. A perfect place to stay.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at B&B Outlander during our visit to Scotland, and I must say that it was a truly magical experience. Located in the beautiful bay of Cruden bay, this charming B&B has exceeded all my expectations.|From the moment I crossed the threshold, we were greeted with warmth and friendliness by Genny, the owner, who made our stay even more enjoyable with her thoughtful attention to detail. The atmosphere of the B & B is charming and charming, with touches of refined design by the exclusive style. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished, we appreciated the refinement of the textiles, both in bed linen and bathroom. The breakfast served in the morning was simply delicious. Fresh, high quality ingredients have made every meal a real treat for the palate. We had the opportunity to taste local specialties such as traditional porridge, full scottisch breakfast with the famous haggis, the scones, accompanied by a delicious homemade jam and I must say that we were satisfied with the variety of choices available. We also want to thank Genny for the green initiative to give every guest a tree planted in the world. In conclusion the B&B Outlander is a lovely place that I highly recommend to everyone. The warm welcome, the charming atmosphere, the comfortable rooms and the ideal location make this B&B an excellent choice for an unforgettable stay in Scotland. I can’t wait...

This is an excellent place to stay in Cruden Bay. It does not have private parking, but there was no problem parking our car just across the street down a side row within easy walk from the house. |Jenny, the owner, has cleverly set up the house and room access with a key code that she emails prior to your arrival. No having to worry about carrying keys.|Our room was very comfortable with a modern shower and bathroom. Large comfy towels. No washcloths. ||There was a closet with dresser drawers built in to keep our clothes and suitcases. The bed was very comfortable. The room was not super large, but we felt it was roomy enough for us. There was even a comfy chair in front of a bay window that overlooked the street. |Breakfast was downstairs in a special room set up just for the morning meal. There were several options to choose from and we felt the choices to be plentiful. Home made bread for toast, with home made jam was a real treat to add to our meal. A huge fresh fruit salad is an add on option to the meal if one chooses. |The place was quiet, with just two rooms to let. There was a hostess tray with tea/coffee and packaged cookies. A hair dryer was included in the room. We could choose daily upkeep to the room. |Jenny was a real delight and the perfect hostess. And you just can't beat the reasonable...
