Disappointing Stay – Poor Cleanliness and Unhelpful Service *Nothing Premier but the price* Upon arrival, there were no staff present at the front desk – they were outside vaping. After eventually being greeted, check-in was smooth, though we were told we could only add breakfast in the morning rather than at check-in, which was inconvenient. When we entered our room (207), we immediately noticed red mites all over the window and curtains – I even have video evidence. A staff member came to inspect and confirmed the issue, offering us a room swap. Their attitude was quite blasé, casually suggesting the mites had probably come through the open window. We repacked and were moved to room 20, only to discover that the door didn’t lock from either the inside or outside. When we raised this, the receptionist suggested we leave our belongings in the unlocked room and they would be moved later while we were out at an event. Given the value and importance of our belongings, we didn’t feel comfortable with this and instead left them in our friend’s room. When we returned later that night, well past midnight after a 14-hour day, we were told we were being moved back to room 207 – which still had the red mites. We were informed the hotel was at full capacity and given no other option. We had to deal with the pests ourselves and try to sleep. Breakfast the next morning was mediocre – standard fare, but many items weren’t being replenished. There were no takeaway coffee cups left, and when we asked the chef to warm a pain au chocolat (as the sign suggested), they simply sighed in response. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience – serious concerns about cleanliness, security, and staff attitude. I would not stay here again. Will no be staying again, the room was vile. I felt dirtier coming out of the shower than I did going in. The bathroom had excessive amount of mold on the shower wall, the light above the mirror was broken, bath was dirty with more mold and stained, screws hanging out of the bath, skirting boards chipped, toilet roll holder stained, some kind of liquid up the walls next to the toilet. The room had more black mold above the window, when we came into the room the windows had been left wide open so was absolutely freezing. The bed had a hair on (not mine and I understand it happens sometimes), cobwebs over the top of the bed, dirty curtains, towels smelt musty. Finally the thermostat was missing its cover so battery exposed I understand premier inn isn’t a 5 star hotel but no excuse to be that grimy, a simple deep clean would fix a lot of of these things. The ONLY perk is it’s close to Silverstone. Do not recommend and I will not stay here again.

The Hotel is well located for what we needed close access to Silverstone. The Hotel is next to the A43 main road and you would not know as the nose from the road is not noticed in the hotel its nice and quite. The staff on reception are very helpful and friendly we also used the breakfast room and had the full works very nice and again the staff are really good. The rooms are good some tired parts that are in need of a lick of paint mostly the bathroom. That said the bed was very comfy and we slept well. The room was good and had everything that we needed for a overnight weekend stay.

This was our first time staying in this Premier Inn, and for me the first time in any. We used to stay at a more local/newer hotel just down the road, however as we were able to drive ourselves this time we decided to give this one a try. Although this Premier Inn is "older" compared to the other competitor, the rooms were much more clean and well looked after.

The staff was absolutely amazing and extremely friendly and helpful which made the stay just that much nicer. I honestly can't explain enough how nice and caring they all were.

The rooms were nice and would 100% would choose to stay here again if I had to choose. On this occasion they were much cheaper too!

Unfortunately I will have to compare just a little bit more to the other new hotel, these are only small remarks but would have liked to have seen them.

USB ports to charge phones/tablets etc would help save me bring more plugs, and honestly I was expecting at least one bedside USB. There was only one USB in the room, and that was not fast enough to charge anything in a decent time, also near the desk.

Better TV functionality The TV software was very restricting. I would have liked to have been able to smartview/cast my phone onto the TV like in the other hotel, but had to source a HDMI cable and use my laptop instead. The TV also seemed to be set up slightly wrong where the corners were cut off, kind of zoomed int too far, this was for normal TV and when using the HDMI.

Better Internet speed This is probably my biggest negative. The internet speed was worse than ADSL, we would use it in the evening to put on clangers on iplayer for the kids to get them ready for bed and that was really bad quality because of the slow speeds. I understand that there was an option for faster internet for £5 a DAY, however that is extremely expensive, and I'm not sure the internet would have been much faster, because "5 times faster" than we had would have still been poor for todays standard. The cost was far too much and is kind of directed for shorter stay I'm assuming, but I wouldn't have minded paying that for the whole stay. I understand there are many rooms, but considering the property seemed to have Virgin fibre I would expect there to be enough for a faster speed for everyone if it was...

I have stayed in this hotel a few times now but this time I was not as impressed. There was work going on in the hotel which did not cause a problem. The kettle in the bedroom was dirty on the outside and in the spout, there were brown marks and what may have been limescale around the spout and lid which I had to use a spoon to open, strange because there was no limescale inside of the kettle, however, the staff did change the kettle when I asked. The pub on site really let the hotel down this time. The restaurant was not very busy and lots of waitresses milling around, we had a table booked for 7 p.m. for three people. We ordered our drinks and meals, my pot of tea came within 5 minutes, it took a further 20 minutes for the two cold drinks to come. The desserts came out at around 7:40, I explained we had not even had our starter yet, I heard the waitress tell the other waitress to put the ice cream dessert into the freezer, not a huge problem. Our starter came about 20 minutes after that. Once our starter plates were cleared away we waited, and waited, and finally asked when our meals were coming, eventually 2 of the meals arrived, then another 15 minutes later the 3rd meal arrived. Once we finished our meals our desserts were finally brought out again, I had ordered the millionaires cheesecake because a colleague had ordered it earlier that evening, hers looked delicious, a large slice with 2 mini shortbread biscuits and a bowl of fresh whipped cream. When mine arrived it was just a thin sliver of cheesecake with a small jug of liquid cream, so not consistent with what I had seen earlier. We did not complain about any of this. After our meal around 9:30, we stayed to have a drink and a chat, just a few professionals having a chat and a catch up, nothing loud or obnoxious, the waitresses, apart from one with long brown hair, were rude and appeared to be trying to rush us to leave for some time, this made me uncomfortable and I left at 11 p.m. For choice I would not stay at the hotel again because of the restaurant and waitresses. It's a shame because my employer has used this hotel for many of us over the...
