Real Glamping at the Fir Hill Ltd — Hotel in Great Britain

I went to Fir Hill in July 2020 and after months of hideous lockdown it was a slice of heaven! I wrangled together a group of 18 friends and we hired out 3 yurts between us. They were so comfortable with huge soft beds and lots of space for 6 people. The facilities were great. Each yurt had its own outside kitchen with tap and gas hob as well as picnic table and chairs for lounging. We had stunning views over the valley and beyond. In the main building there was another inside kitchen for group meals that we could use as well as a bbq area and plenty of fire pits. We throughly enjoyed hanging out there in the evenings with Charlie, the owner, helping us whenever it was needed. The showers and toilets are cleaned regularly and are large. It exceeded all expectations. The location was perfect - 15 mins drive from Fistral beach. The yurt was so comfortable with really, really decent beds and bedding. The outdoor kitchen was well equipped & the showers were spotless. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, manager and staff. We have stayed as a group in May and it was just what we were hoping it to be. the yurts were super cosy and the main house area ideal for rainy moments and a great space for hanging out together. The host was super helpful, welcoming and kind. The Location is great, easy access to beaches and national trust walks but in a peaceful, quiet setting. We can really recommend Fir Hill Glamping.
