The host CJ is one of the best I've met in all my traveling and made my stay perfect.||Their home is wonderfully comfortable to stay in, and is as solid as they come. No matter the weather, you won't feel unsafe or at risk.||||Slept better here than even at home, only downside is the early sunrise, but the excellent blackout shades work perfectly.||Bathroom was modern, clean, and lots of space to not feel closed in.||||Breakfast was incredible and CJ was more than accommodating for alternative diets.||CJ kindly tossed a few of my dirty laundry clothes in with a wash she did, very grateful for that. I was also offered some help with a few of my things on my visit, which weren't needed, thus again showcasing CJ's kind, welcoming spirit.||CJ also had lots of great suggestions for food, sights to see, and other info, a lovely person to just talk to in general.||||The area is quiet, but not far out enough you're stuck away from town. You can walk into town in about 30 minutes, or a short 2-5 minute drive at most.||||Overall a perfect, comfortable, warm, welcoming, inviting and tranquil place to stay. It really made for a perfect visit. If or when I come back again, this is...
Read moreWe stayed at Rhenetra for 2 nights with my parents. CJ was a brilliant host, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spotless and the beds very comfortable. The views from Rhenetra were beautiful, regardless of weather changes. Breakfast was amazing and CJ offered an array of great foods. We had a long walk in the rain, and the rain really did come down heavy that day and we were soaked. CJ very kindly offered to dry our clothes. We ate at The Old Library in Arisaig one evening (must be booked in advance) which was superb and they also had great things to say about CJ.||I will definitely be back to explore the area further and I wouldn't hesitate but to return...
Read moreThank you to CJ (Mrs Stewart) for a very welcoming and friendly three days: an excellent hostess, and we were made to feel relaxed and ‘at home’. Delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed, and and a beautiful unspoilt location in Back Keppoch - adjacent to Arisaig. This is on the coastal route to Mallaig, with beautiful beaches along the way.||We had a room with en suite, - the other 2 rooms available share a bathroom.||We were able to come and go as we wished, and had a little fridge in our room, useful for storing water and extra milk. There are a couple of restaurants available in Arisaig just around the corner, and lots in Mallaig - a 20...
