Other reviews will comment on the rooms etc but we didnt even get that far. ||||Booked and paid for in May24, last personal communication from Natalie in Oct 24, only to arrive Dec 24 and be told that there is no longer a booking.||||I couldnât even speak with Natalie in person but it was via her elderly Mum on a mobile ( Natalie didnât answer my calls).||||Natalie told me she has stopped using the booking agent we had used. They confirmed the account was still active and were not aware of this! Natalie simply said she canât help and itâs between us and the booking agent. ||||Picture the scene, travelling since 4am, flights to Scotland, busy day and now sitting in the middle of nowhere, in a hire car with the rain pounding on the roof. Itâs dark and cold, only to be told the booking youâve paid for doesnât exist andâtoughâ itâs a you problem! ||||No compassion, no offer to sit in the warm whilst we resolve things.. nothing!    Read moreI booked accomodation for one night for my husband who was working in the area. First of all making a booking was brilliant as it was done through Bookings.com However he had a late arrival time so I called a few times to inform them of this. I had to call so many times and leave messages I nearly cancelled the booking but this meant I would not get a refund. ||My husband had a good stay. The place and area was clean and comfortable the breakfast was basic. The lady who welcomed him was lovely. ||He forgot to get an invoice so we have both been chasing invoices for a week now. We have called the landline and mobile SEVERAL times and left messages I have sent a message through bookings.com. On bookings.com it is clearly stated that this was a business trip. So really they should be offering us invoices even if he forgot to ask for one. No one has returned our calls and messages. If we don't get an invoice we cant claim it back from his employer. If I do not hear from them soon I will report this to HMRC and get advice from them and Bookings.com. I really don't want to do it but they will leave...
