Rose Cottage Holiday Cottage — Hotel in Great Britain

We go home Saturday, well it's been wonderful with our two cats here. The caravan is cosy, gas and electric included so the living room gets lovely and warm. Its perfect as you can sit outside even in September with a glass of wine. Stephen and marie are lovely people and helpful. You will see buzzards in the afternoon floating above the trees. Large hares in the field behind and the beef cattle mooing in the distance. Also the sound of grouse in the mornings. Our 14 year old cat we could let on the grass and our ginger 6 month old kitten on a leash loved the grass and the visible birdlife. Easy access by bus or car to the south Rhins. If you want a peaceful holiday it's perfect. Unfortunately the pub in port logan is up for auction. Let's hope someone can take it on and help the tourism during covid 19. We have got some lovely photos of sunsets here and I hope to do a painting in oils of the sunset as it is my hobby. If it's good enough I may donate it to the owners. Thankyou stephen...

We have just come back from staying at this beautiful cottage .We enjoyed a wonderful week in port Logan .. The cottage is so cozy ,it had everything we needed and made extra special that there is a beautiful sandy beach 5 mins down the road .the garden is beautiful,well maintained and we had lots of birds visiting and rabbits and even a frog ,our dog Molly loved it here the owners live next door , they do keep out of the way but are on hand if you need them and they lovely and friendly, we loved our stay so much we have booked to come back for...

Well equipped 2 bedroomed static caravan in an absolutely beautiful location with stunning views in a very quiet rural area 2 mins from Port Logan but close enough to major roads in the area ,well located to explore the south Rhins and south west corner of Dumfries & Galloway , owner very friendly and a few doors away if anything is needed ,very reasonable prices we paid for a £330 for a week in late JULY with all bedding electricity and gas included ,owner also has a cottage to rent...
