Swinside Farmhouse — Hotel in Great Britain

Prior to our arrival we were contacted by Jo to ask if we wanted to reserve a table at the inn. On arrival we were met by a warm welcome. Jo showed us to our room. It was spacious clean and very well kept. Personal touches of homemade shortbread in our room. The location is lovely in the middle of nowhere with stunning views. Derwent Marina is just a few yards up the road. The inn was also very welcoming food is average with plenty of choice on the menu. As a guest at the farmhouse you do benefit from 10% off your meal. Check this when the staff bring your bill. Breakfast was lovely. Definitely value for money and will be returning. We loved our stay at the Swinside farmhouse and will definitely book again. Our room was spacious and cozy, located in a quiet area but very close to Keswick and also a short drive to a lot of places we wanted to visit in the area. Swinside Farm House is an absolute gem. The owner (Jo) is very warm and friendly and the rooms are spotlessly clean, the en-suite was incredibly clean. My husband had the full English breakfast and he commented on how well it was cooked (not at all greasy) and I enjoyed cereal followed by beans on toast.
