We got married in the beautiful village of Evershot and chose The Acorn Inn for our reception. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. It was the most incredible day thanks to the whole dream team who went above and beyond for us in making it perfect.

A special mention to Natalie who was incredible in helping us plan the big day, answering all our questions, sizing up backdrops, checking our invites, talking through menus, drinks, timings, rooms. From our first meeting, we left knowing this was where we wanted to have our wedding and we are so glad we made this decision.

All the food over the weekend was exceptional. Natalie and team even organised a separate bridal room to get ready with a bridal buffet which was so special! The staff could not have done more for us, we received so many compliments from our guests about how amazing the staff were and how great the food was - the Apple of Love dessert being a particular hit. We met with Ana who was so great, creating vegetarian menus for us and was able to make a vegan alternative to all our dishes which we super appreciated.

The rooms were so comfortable, all the guests staying slept so well and were made to feel really welcome from their check-in.

Everyone at The Acorn were so genuine and wonderful, it just made the day so much better and we left feeling on absolute cloud 9. Such a special place with such amazing people. Thank you all, we seriously could not have asked for...

We've recently returned from a short stay at this beautiful old pub in the quaint village of Evershot.||We stayed in the Evershed room. We knew it was a snug room and so expected it to be small. It was comfortable, with a firm double bed, TV, shower, tea and coffee making facilities, water, and homemade biscuits on arrival.|There was also a very welcome fan in the room, which we needed due to the summer heatwave.||We ate dinner in the pub on our first evening and opted to do the same the following night as the food was so good!|It was super tasty and extremely pleasing to the eye.|There was also an extensive drinks menu with some very tasty gin cocktails!||Breakfast was hearty.|There was a buffet selection of juice, pastries, yoghurt, fresh fruit, homemade granola, and delicious spiced apricots.|Served together with a hot option and tea / coffee. Having recently moved to the area my husband and I have been to the Acorn a number of times for meals with family & friends who have visited and to pop in for a drink. It quite simply is the best pub we have ever had the pleasure of frequenting. What makes this pub so special is that it is excellent at everything. Firstly, it’s staff are friendly & are highly trained in hospitality. The decor and ambiance makes you feel welcome, cosy and fits in with everything you’d expect a beautiful country pub to be. Then there’s the food, it’s exceptional. They use seasonal local produce, and have a creative menu that sets your palette alive. We are always astounded by the quality and standard and always feel completely happy and satisfied after every meal. If you’re thinking about visiting, don’t hesitate and make sure you plan ahead as most of the time you need to book in advance. Thank you to all the team at the Acorn Inn as it truly is the heart of Evershot.

Warm welcome great service and excellent food! We had a lovely time with friends as the staff were so welcoming and served us with smile and friendly conversation about food and drinks selection. We were offered to sample the wine as both me and my friend had never heard or seen orange wine in a pub menu . The food was superb. I added a picture of the sticky toffee pudding and my cocktail as reference. We are about an hour drive from the Acorn Inn but plan to do a weekend break in area to stay and experience the food again ! Super choice for dinner with friends.
