The house is absolutely stunning, exuding a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The decor is tasteful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the peaceful, tranquil setting enhances the overall sense of relaxation. The ambience is serene, and the views from the property are nothing short of breathtaking, making it a standout choice for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. The pool, while slightly smaller in comparison to the expansive size of the property, was perfectly warm and inviting. The addition of the jacuzzi was a real highlight, offering a wonderful place to unwind after a long day.

The location is rather remote, but this wasn’t a surprise as we were fully aware of it when we made the booking. However, the isolation may not suit everyone. While it offers a peaceful escape, guests seeking a more lively or central location might find it less convenient.

There were a few issues during our stay that I feel need to be addressed, which unfortunately impacted our experience and prevented me from awarding a full 5-star rating. The cleanliness of the property could definitely be improved. For instance, underneath one of our children’s beds, we found an open chocolate bar, which was concerning. Additionally, the coffee machine still had used pods inside, and the dishwasher was clogged with food residue, making it unusable. The rubber seal on the washing machine was also visibly dirty, which suggested a lack of attention to detail in housekeeping. While these issues were minor, they did detract from the overall experience.

Another point to mention is the air conditioning, which serves the property. While air conditioning is generally a welcome feature, unfortunately, it caused my skin to dry out, and despite being left on all day, the temperature never quite reached the set level. This was a little disappointing, as we expected better climate control given the size and quality of the property.

The pool and games room were great for children, offering plenty of entertainment. However, the pool table had a ripped cloth, which significantly reduced its usability for adults. This minor issue seemed to deter many of the adults from using the facility, which was a shame as it could have been a fun addition to the stay.

On the positive side, the grounds surrounding the property are beautifully maintained. The landscaping is immaculate, and the outdoor space is perfect for relaxation. The car parking facilities were also excellent, offering plenty of space and convenience.

In conclusion, the property is absolutely wonderful. It would undoubtedly suit a variety of occasions, from family holidays to special celebrations, with its peaceful and picturesque setting. The views are magnificent, offering a sense of calm and tranquillity. However, if you’re the type of traveller who enjoys a more adventurous or activity-packed holiday, you may find it challenging here. Many of the area’s key attractions are more than an hour's drive away, which may not be ideal for those seeking a more dynamic itinerary. A fantastic barn conversion set in a beautiful countryside setting with stunning views all around. Went for a work event, plenty of spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms, modern kitchen, large dining area and lots of break out spaces to relax and socialise. Great courtyard area with seating and a large hall for gatherings. Not to mention a very stylish pool and jacuzzi spa.

We had our wedding here in October and it was just perfect. We didn’t get to see it before the big day so we were constantly sending emails back and forth to confirm everything and the staff never once made us feel like we were bothering. The whole place is just beautiful! All our guests travelled atleast 6 hours to get here and they all were blown away.
