The Grumpy Schnauzer B&B — Hotel in Great Britain

My girlfriend and I stayed here in the sleeping dog room. It is a fantastic big room with a comfortable bed, with a nice view of the country side. There is a TV with an amazon fire stick which is already logged in so you can watch TV or music at your own leisure. There is also a mini fridge, coffee/tea machine and a kettle. The shower is amazing. There is also a personal touch with a personalised name board when you walk in along with freshly made smoothies and a few other goodies.

Every room has its own personal touch, all including a relaxing hot tub and for the sleeping dog, you have an outside lounge with it. This hot tub was one of the best I have ever been in.

Else where in the property there is a pool room, a fully equipped gym and a study along with books and chess.

There is vegan breakfast served on the morning, I wasn't sure what to expect as I've never tried vegan before but wow it was amazing! The portion sizes were great and the flavours were beautiful.

Mara and David are exceptional hosts, they are very friendly and will cater for your every need. I will definitely be coming here again...

This B&B was beautiful. The private hot tub was amazing. And the owners communication was 10/10. The owner was lovely and very helpful. We got breakfast in bed for both mornings. The room was immaculate and very modern. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. There was also a gym and a games room which was amazing. The room had lots of supplies such as slippers, house coats, toothbrushes, toothpastes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and even razors. There was also a hairdryer, tongues and a hot air brush. The room included plates, cutlery, mugs, cups and wine glasses. The tv was also great as you are able to get access to Netflix on it. This B&B has everything you need for a getaway. You don’t even need to leave the property if you don’t want to as there’s so much to do such as games to play, tv to watch, hot tub to chill in and going to the gym. The room had lovely decorations and lighting such as salt lamps, big lamps, small lamps, fancy lighting (including lighting under the bed). I would 100% recommend this B&B and I will definitely stay at The Grumpy...

Stayed here in October last year and it was amazing. The owners are a very nice couple who leave you to yourselves but extremely attentive when needed. The breakfast was amazing, smart TVs and netflix in the rooms. Plastic glasses for hot tub. The fish tanks in the dining area are so cool and also the mini bars in the room also come with some soft drinks. It is not like some places I've stayed where it is all about rules etc. They genuinely want you to chill and it feels like home.

Some people may feel a bit odd that three of the hot tubs are accessed through public areas.. I was a bit unsure but it seriously was not a problem. You don't really bump into anyone and people just respect each other and respect the accommodation.

Will definitely be back. We tried three of the rooms over a three night stay and they were all lovely in their own way and all not attached to the rooms but again this wasn't an issue and part of the giggles. Plus the pool...
