The Linhay Holiday Cottages — Hotel in Great Britain

We booked a week over New Year at The Linhay with friends as it was the same price for 3 nights due to it being New Year. There were 4 couples who each had an en suite room, which was ideal. The owners were also happy for us to take 2 dogs which are allowed in all downstairs areas. The cottage is a great size with lots of space, a separate dining room and separate lounge area. There is also a fair sized field to give any dogs a quick exercise however the walk along the mineral line to Watchet is great and it's only a 5 mile round trip. The owners are extremely helpful and we were greeted personally by Sarah who showed us how to work the heating and the private hot tub in the garden! There is also a small swimming pool but due to the winter period, this was not in use. There is also a private sauna for a small charge. An added welcome touch was a big tub of chocolates and box of biscuits which we were all happy to liberate. This was a great place to spend celebrating the New Year with friends and we would happily return...

Immaculate! That was the word that sprung to mind when we entered the house. As we explored the house the word remained. Bedrooms were split evenly in what I could call the ‘west and east wings’. All the rooms were large and comfortable. Outside are two garden areas, one I would call the tranquil garden, the other, a patioed area, I would call the activity garden with the hot tub, sauna, outside table tennis and chess. The shrubbery had been trimmed almost to perfection. Behind the house is a very large mowed field, ideal for kicking a ball or throwing a frisbee. We really enjoyed our stay there. The only little niggles were that the internet service dropped out sometimes and the couches in the living room were so soft and low that 2 of us with back problems couldn’t...

Beautiful accomodation..linhay has everything you need for a relaxing stay.
