The Old Farmhouse — Hotel in Great Britain

We have just had the most wonderful week at the Old Farmhouse. The house is just beautiful and has literally everything you could possibly need. It was clean, tidy and welcoming. We were a party of 8 so having so much space and rooms to escape to was a god send. The beds were comfortable and the location was so peaceful we all slept very well. The enclosed garden was perfect, with stunning views across the beautiful Cornish countryside. Our 2yr old lab was safe to roam the garden and had the best time running around chasing her beloved ball on a string!! Location wise, the property is within east reach of Wadebridge for supplies as well as easy reach of places of interest to visit. Good Communication with the owner through out. I recently spent a week at the Old Farmhouse. I wanted a getaway location away from the hustle and noise of ordinary life and this was perfect. We woke up to birds singing, the occasional cow mooing and the most glorious views across the valley fields. It is truly peaceful there, the irony though is it isn't actually very remote...there is a good pub for dinner in St Breward about half hours walk away/ 5 mins in the car or within 20 minutes in the car you can be in Port Isaac / Padstow. The standard of the accommodation was great, the house was very clean and well equipped inside and out... the gardens and Toy hut was jammed with things to keep the kids happy...a nice touch.
