Wow what an amazing stay in suite 5 of the sleeping giant hotel. ||The managers were kind enough to rearrange our previous stay that we couldnt make because our baby was poorly. We are so grateful that they agreed to rearrange with such short notice. ||Our room was stunning. Great size, very clean, air con/ heating worked well, underfloor heating in the bathroom was lush. Can't fault the room at all. We enjoyed the beautiful smell of the citrus shower gel and a very relaxing bath- big enough for the both of us to comfortably enjoy. The bed is massive and we had a good night's sleep. Tea facilities and yummy biscuits provided too! Also loved that they provided sachets of oatmilk. The art work and modern features were amazing. ||Our meal in the restaurant in the evening was absolutely stunning. I had the rib eye steak with Diane sauce and my partner had calamari to start and the pork stuffed with apple and black pudding for main. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and had no room for dessert. We took a drink each back to our room which was lovely too. ||The TV had all the right apps and channels for us to unwind before going to sleep. ||In the morning, we enjoyed having a walk around the mini zoo to see some of the animals. ||We would definitely return and will be...

Read moreOnly stayed for a couple of nights but it was a great place for exploring the Brecon area. Very clean, the bathroom was big with the rain style shower, tea and coffee provided and water and biscuits which you don’t get much anymore these days! Beds were comfy, nice outdoor space to chill as well. Not noisy, didn’t hear the pub or other residents at all and it was busy the weekend we stayed. Staff welcoming and friendly. The pub is linked to the hotel so you can eat there if you wish, they also do breakfast and a public park is on the same land which is handy and great for the kids. The little zoo that’s with the pub/hotel is quirky and a nice extra. The whole grounds are well looked after and well presented, I would say the hotel...
