First time visit with my daughter and 2 grandsons. Heard about this place through friends and finally got around to visiting. Was a little apprehensive when we arrived as the entrance was a little dishevelled but once we were in all was well. My 3yr old grandson loved the place, he loved running around in the open space, playing in the playground and feeding the animals. We were impressed with the appearance of the animals both those in pens and those running loose. Everyone seemed happy and well looked after. The layout was very open plan and informal. We enjoyed the walk around the fields with various, sheep, horses, donkeys and Alpaca waiting to greet us along our way. Would highly recommend this place for families with little ones. There is a small food station which serves teas, coffees burgers and bacon rolls and plenty of benches to sit but no where under cover to hide from the great welsh weather.

We have been visiting the farm over the years for many reasons mostly because we just love the great outdoors, it’s very local they have a lovely range of animals there that you can see and touch. My children loved the petting zoo touching the bunny rabbits and guinea pigs but also being able to feed goats and chickens. It’s not a all expensive, It’s a beautiful lake that you can fish on if you plan ahead. There is a small play park the children to play in. I did prefer the traditional style wooden park then the new plastic furniture park that they have these days. But for a little bit of fun outside with the kids it’s an absolute bargain and everybody should have a visit if you get the chance.

Just visited the farm with my granddaughter. Didn't stay here. Farm is fab. Yes muddy, smelly and full of poop.. But absolutely fabulous place to take the kids to feed the farm animals. We go there quite often, take a picnic with us. There's plenty of seating and tables for your picnic. Easy to get to.. Plenty of parking spaces. Easy access for wheelchairs, although you'd have to push on grass a lot, be ideal on a sunny dry day. Animals are well looked after. We but food there to feed them. Entry price was fair. There's a park there for kids, not the best I've seen but it's OK. Kids seem to enjoy.

Didn't think much of the Farm the animals were not that well care for. As you come to the entrance where you pay the men was nice as we didn't have all the money so said we could get more money at the cafe as was cash machine. Small brid cage with budgies in them and not very clean behind the desk very messy. Two chicken with a lot of features missing might be infection skin or stress. Only two toilets with only cold water to wash your hands not very hygienic should be at least warm water especially touching the animals and again, the same outside very cold water but at least there got hand wash. Animals were not that friendly but a donkey, which my little cousin love was fairly friendly, and the dog called Peggy was very friendly. Was animals poo now and again around outside of the animals inclosed but can't be help. Can't say much about the med size cafe for food or drinks as we didn't eat there as we had picnic. Was rabbits huch with one rabbit, and i think guinea pig in it. I Do think the small animals need a Lot more room to run around in there very small inclosed. Lots of the chickens got big inclosed, so i do not know way the small animals didn't have one. There was a lot more chicken than others animals. 4 sheeps, 6 goats, 2 pigs, 4 Pony's, 2 peacocks with babies, 1 turkey, 2 lamas, a lot of guinea pigs, and rabbits. Fish pond you could catch fish by the car parking as while as one small size one inside with one black Swan, med size one with 4 geeses and i think was some ducks as well. The children play area outside was only for very young children so my 9 years cousin couldn't play. Med size sand pits, 2 swing which look like they needing new ones, very small slide, 2 baby swing, very small play box you could go in and out of that was it. £ 4.00 for children - adults £ 5.00 - £1 bag of animals food. Car parking free. Can't understand way so many reviews on here say it's nice farm with friendly animals and animals well look ather as we only went this Sat 13 Aug 23. Just Look now again on the reviews lot say it very nice but i did noticed if you look lot down the reviews i find at less 13 say the animals was not very clean or healthy and the children play park...

Absolutely appalling. Animals are kept in disgusting and unacceptable conditions with no care taken whatsoever. Amazon parrot left outside in a filthy cage, with no enrichment bar a tiny cotton rope toy that poses a danger to it, a single uniform perch which is causing what looks like the start of bumblefoot... a very painful foot condition/infection. Left outside in the rain and cold, in winter. A tropical bird. No shelter to stop the wind or rain from reaching it, no heating, just left there to freeze. The budgies and canary were no better. Trapped in tiny individual cages with a single perch and no form of enrichment at all. Unless hidden in the base of the cage, they didn't appear to have food or water either, it was completely bare. Whatever you do, avoid this place. Do not contribute to the atrocious treatment of these poor animals. If you ever hear of anyone considering going here, please, please warn them off. Not only will they be thoroughly disappointed in their visit, but they will be giving money to awful, heartless people who clearly don't care for their animals welfare and just care about the profit. There are many much nicer places around that actually care about and look after their animals properly, so please consider one of these instead, even if it costs a...

The farm was a good family time out to be fair.||The problem occurred when getting food at the coffee shop!||Me and my friends little boys aged 4 was playing in the the kids play area.||I noticed a laptop and food shopping bags stored in the play area!||I politely let the young lady at the front know they were there.||I can only presume she is the owners daughter, her words was ā€œit’s ok it’s my sonsā€.||The problem wasn’t long latter, ||she came to me with a rude attitude ||saying that the boys touching her son laptop and things like ā€œI shouldn’t leave my child sideā€ and ā€œI’m a bad motherā€ etc…||she was shouting abuse in my face! But like I mentioned before I had seen the problem before it’s happened! ||I found this manners unprofessional as I been in the hospitality for over 15 years in a high level and never seen or experienced anything like this before.||I had to leave the premises after 30 minutes there as I was so upset how she spoke to me.||I was shocked as we spent so much money here, Ā£25 on food and drinks is not cheep for a mother and 2 kids. ||The food was poor and small portions!||I will not be returning here and I will not recommend it to my friends or family till the customer...
