Wemyss Bay Holiday Park — Hotel in Great Britain

We have been to Wemyss Bay holiday park a few times now and 2024 has to be the best yet, the weather was stunning ( just lucky) the staff were fantastic especially Caroline and Jaymee who managed to get us a caravan nearer the entertainment hall due to my health, we had to reward these 2 ladies and all the other office staff who went above and beyond to help us. The caravan we ended up staying in was probably the best yet and every time we saw the staff they would always ask if everything was OK. Even Joe and Allan the door staff are top guys they remembered us from our holiday last year, Caroline remembered me as I managed to get a cardboard cut out of a soldier may 2023 to guard my Elvis cardboard cut out, even though I forgot to take them with me to get some pictures but I'll be back later in the year and I'll make sure I have them in the car. Wemyss bay holiday park is a great place for couples or families and don't forget the dog. We would highly recommend Wemyss Bay and all the local places to visit. It made my holiday even more special as we left the hall on the Friday night and the sky was on fire with the Aurora Borealis and I managed to get some real cracking pictures, what a holiday and what a week we had. Our holiday is over. First impression ok but after the first night we spent with our children. It was disgusting, everything was dirty, the floor, the toilet, the shower wall was broken, there was a stench of mold everywhere, there was a lot of hair as if it had never been vacuumed , no hangers, everything was covered with dust, bugs in the lamps, the walls were stained, just dirty , no toilet brush, the second night, spots of bedbug bites appeared on my legs. I reported it and the manager came during the day and checked the beds. and finally he said that I should go to the pharmacy and buy a cream for the spots. The people who work there have no idea what a bug is or how to find it. The matter was reported to the local Council. If that doesn't work, I'll write to the local newspaper and let everyone know how dirty and stinky it is. Expects part of the cash back from the owner. I have photos and tomorrow I will have a copy from a private doctor. What happened to my body. I wholeheartedly do not recommend this place if you don't want to be disappointed and have your money...

Paid £47 for a mixed grill and a spaghetti bolognaise the mixed grill was extremely dry and the spaghetti bolognaise was lacking meat and sauce literally next to no meat and not even wet enough with sauce definitely no where near worth the money. The van we have hired has a sewerage smell coming from the toilet and is really pungent. The staff did call me around an hour after we arrived and asked if everything was OK with the van I did say seems OK so far but we only seen the inside of it because just arrived and went out straight away we are still here and will take it up with the staff tomorrow. There is no towels we have been told we can hire them at £3 per towel and the van is really bare inside for the price i have paid i expected better...
