Excellent winter getaway spot for family. The hot tub, fire pit with marshmallow toasting kit, and games in the welcome pod, everything was so perfect for a cosy time with kids. Kids loved watching the sheep in the farm and horses in the nearby stable. (Don't forget to pack your welly boots). There are plenty of walking routes to all the direction of the pod. All the details, including waterproof map, are kept inside the pods.

Wonderful location, the pods are small and comfortable, there is everything here that you need for your stay. The countryside is spectacular, you can see for miles sitting inside your pod and walk for miles when you are out! The hot tub was a delight where you just sit and enjoy the view! I only have one complaint, and that’s that we had to leave!!!!! But we will be back in August and hopefully many more times!

It's one of my favourite places. The cabin is spacious, well designed and clean. Each pod has its own hot tub, and they're always ready for your arrival. The area is beautiful and quiet, with a beautiful view to the valley and hills. There's a shed with games and dvds for rainy days too, so you will never get bored. 5/5 all the way.

Fantastic find. Lovely views. We were blessed with new born lambs to watch. It's quiet apart from a variety of bird song, lovely. Each pod is labelled and has a discrete fencing/ stone wall for privacy. The hut itself was clean and in great condition and a good temperature. Perfect size for a couple. There is a double sofa bed for 2 more, but that would be extremely cosy. Kitchen area is fine for self catering. Don't bring too much as the fridge is small, but it does have a tiny ice box for ice blocks and ice cubes. There's a little hob in the cupboard which was handy, and a microwave. If you do plan cooking, note the microwave doesn't have an oven feature. Bathroom is a nice size.

Hosts were friendly and responded quickly when we'd misread the instructions so wondered which pod we were in - oops. They added a birthday banner and balloon for my partner's birthday, plus bottle of prosecco and toblerone bar - lovely touch. Finding the place was a little tricky as we headed up from Malham, so was heading from Hawes towards Leyburn - the instructions were from the other direction lol. We got there though. There's a nice parking area with electric charger if you have an electric car. Overall, an excellent stay and we...

We stayed for our wedding anniversary over the Easter weekend in the Swaledale pod. It was immaculately clean and it had everything we needed to cook breakfast, dinner and tea. We used the BBQ, it worked perfectly. We also used the fire pit which is supplied with plenty of wood and even marshmallows which we thought was a nice touch. The hot tub was absolutely brilliant and a perfect vantage point to look at the stars at night, it was literally like a carpet of stars for two out of the three nights that we were there. One night the sky was that clear we saw shooting stars, satellites and no word of a lie, a meteorite that burned right across us and then disappeared over the hill in front of us, it was just incredible. There is plenty of space outside the pod to move around and it very private, as there are only three pods on site. We met Janet who is the co-owner there and she was lovely, she gave us more towels and more wood for the fire pit. Overall, the Swaledale pod is great, it's very comfortable, has a cracking view and has everything we needed during our stay. We had a memorable anniversary and we very much hope to return in the future. Thank you very...
