Willis’s Batch Caravan and Motorhome Club Site — Hotel in Great Britain

A lovely few nights here. Friendly owners who leave you to it. Large grassy level area with views over the field fenced off apart from entrance. It is close to the airport and noise level seems to depend on take off direction which changes, but not annoying and no flights during the night that we noticed. Facilities are excellent with a shed for waste and recycling. The roads around can be busy due to the airport but mainly at commuting times. Very well signposted from the road and up the gravel track to the site. I would recommend approaching the site entrance with larger units from the East as its a tight turn otherwise. Willis's Batch is accessed via a steep, winding, unmade road that could be quite a challenge with a larger vehicle or outfit. The pitches are all on grass and due to the amount of rain that had fallen were quite squelchy. We got stuck and needed assistance to get off the pitch in the morning. Lovely place. Quiet. Their are planes close by, but not noisy or annoying. I wish I had time to spend a few more days, but was on a time limit. A robin kept visiting us, which was lovely.
