Our 1 night stay was very relaxing in this lovely b&b in the country, but also so close to Belfast Airport which was great for our early flight the next day. Elizabeth was a lovely hostess, and our room upstairs in the main house was huge! Full of character, and the bathroom was excellent as well. We had pre arranged with Elizabeth to have a 2 course dinner, and it was one of the best dinners ever! Absolutely delicious and very generous, totally recommend. We ate in the dining room downstairs. Went for a walk afterwards, very peaceful along the country roads. Since we were leaving early in the morning, we didn't have the breakfast, but Elizabeth kindly gave us a bag with fruits and treats which was appreciated. All in all...

We stayed 23-26 Oct, and our friends stayed in The Loft. We stayed in the Blue Room, and it was more than large enough for 2 adults and 2 children. It was clean and comfortable, with a nice en-suite.|The owner, Elizabeth, was so friendly and accommodating. She was very helpful suggesting local attractions, pubs, and her knowledge seemed boundless! She reached out to us shortly after booking to enquire about dietary requirements, and even picked up a box of our daughter's favourite cereal. Breakfast was fantastic, with a good choice/combinations, and the local ingredients couldn't have been better. |All in all, this was easily the best B&B we've stayed in, and we'll definitely use again. Our first time in N.I. but...

Oh what a lovely place! We stayed for two nights in the ‘Blue Room’ and couldn’t have been happier. Room and en-suite bathroom were spotless with quality bedding on a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was yummy with plenty of options. Elizabeth was very friendly and super knowledgeable about the local area and in fact NI as a whole - great recommendations from her on days out and things to do. Bay Cottage is right on the banks of Lough Neagh with great views and is a very short walk from the friendly, local pub! Looking forward to returning and would certainly recommend. In our opinion having a car is a must though as it is...

Nice quiet bed and breakfast out in the country about 5 to 10 minutes from a couple towns. Definitely helps to have a car as you are not walking somewhere to dinner but there is a nice pub close by you can walk to. Elizabeth was a great host, makes breakfast to order and shows you around and answers any of your questions. Lord Chester, the orange cat, was also a gracious host and allowed us entry upon the requisite amount of petting to gain entry. Beds were super comfy and you get a view of the loch.

One of the most pleasurable stays, 4 nights, I have had in a B&B for some years. Elizabeth and Norman go that step further to ensure their residents have all that is needed to have a pleasant and comfortable time. I stayed in the blue room, which had an ensuite, sofa, tea making facilities, tv and lovely large bed. For breakfast there was fresh seasonal fruits, mini pancakes and local farmed products to make up a true traditional Irish starter to the day. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Absolutely loved our stay with Elizabeth! She was very warm and welcoming, answering all of our questions about the area and Irish traditions. Located within a 5 minute walk of a local pub, we were able to take a night off from driving to get some Guinness. The breakfast that was offered was more than I could have hoped for, and the view of the bay from our bedroom window was beautiful to wake up to. No complaints here, and 10/10 will stay again when we visit next!
