I have to give Caroline and her husband massive props. From the booking to the room everything in-between was spectacular and very easily booked may I add. Even though, I'd booked a 1 night getaway for my fiancé and I without the kid. Although last minute planning dictated otherwise, we had to take our 22 month. Confirmed the change with Caroline which was absolutely effortless. Infact catered, too. And too a T. Darragh LOVED the place, and to be fair, so did we, and made it all the more magical, having added to a birthday/ Mother's Day more wonderful.
The room is toastie warm, very vibrant, gorgeous wood finish, clean and fresh, also the added touches of tv Netflix comfy bed, fridge sink kettle, etc. Even the wee jar of milk was perfect. Then to the hot tub, 🔥 enclosed spacious with plentyyyyy of room. Toilet facilties were great, in fact right there. When you needed it. TV on the wall so us oldies could just chill with our monitor and have a glass of beer. Unreal!
Brekfast!!! Where do I start, absolutely catered for as mentioned. For the wee man, too, in a dome, watching the planes go down was class. Not for everyone but an excited child seeing a plan that close landing made us all giggle.

Boutique Country House is situated in the Crumlin / Co. Antrim area of Northern Ireland in the heart of the countryside and what an amazing experience it is. I booked it for an overnight stay for my best friend and I to go to and relax and get away from the City. And it was simply amazing. Caroline the owner was so helpful, wonderful and welcoming and she couldn't have made the experience more fabulous. You can opt for the Log Cabin Experience or the Caribbean Hot Tub Experience. We opted for the Caribbean Hot Tub Experience which DID NOT fail to disappoint. We had exclusive private use of the Caribbean Hot Tub, a Take Away was also part of the experience and the food was still super hot when we got it and delicious! And we also opted as an add on for the Chocolate Fondue Experience which was just YUM! That evening we got to stay over in the overnight accommodation which is held in the Boutique Country House itself. It was so clean and comfortable and a lovely experience. Impressive ideed! The next morning we opted for a continental breakfast which was great as we are both vegetarians. And both of us went away feeling relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated! This place doesn't need another 5-star review.... but it is every bit deserving of one!
I booked in advance for a family retreat in the larger "rustic" log cabin and hot tub retreat for my wife's birthday and I cannot express how great the level of service was from day 1 booking right up to our departure.
Caroline - who initially handles the bookings and then provides amazing service alongside her husband - was so pleasant, friendly and accommodating from start to finish. She aimed to bend over backwards in helping me make arrangements to make sure our two small children would be comfortable and catered for. I was left with no worries.
On the day of arrival she took time to go through everything - dinner was on-time and delivered as expected and the spread of breakfast was wonderful outside in the geodesic dome (and in the middle of January!) Even the little ones were given warm toast and scrambled egg.
Hot tub was luxurious and the cabin was cosy.
On departure, before settling the final account, we were even welcomed into their home and Caroline sat and played with our 3yo and 1yo, while we chatted and bid our farewells.
Everything was as expected - and more!
