We stayed in the cabins during the worst storm of the year. The owner was so lovely on the phone and offered us a change in date due to the bad weather, but we decided to go ahead anyway as didn’t have any other time off in the near future. ||The cabins are quaint and clean. Lots of light coming in from the multiple windows. They have everything you would need for a short self catering stay. The kitchen is well equipped. They each have a little, fenced off garden, which would be lovely to sit in, in better weather. Picnic tables and bbqs are usually present, but they were removed due to the stormy weather. ||The view from the cabins is beautiful. A panoramic view of the Sperrins. There are 4 beds in the rear of the cabin, in a separate little room. There is also a back door from this room. My kids loved the stay. ||Only one thing that could improve … the Wi-Fi signal. This only mattered to us cause the weather was stormy so we were inside the whole time. In better weather I think you’d be outside so much enjoying the surroundings that you wouldn’t really care about the Wi-Fi. We would stay again, and have recommended the place to...
Read moreI’ve always wanted to try glamping. This was such a fabulous spot to go to. So happy with the experience, location is beautiful the view to wake up to is stunning. The grounds are kept so well including individual parking at each cabin. Nature trails, kids area to play and outdoor area including benches. The individual hot tub was fabulous, clean, easy to use and private. Night-gowns and slippers provided for after. The lady Bronagh that we were dealing with couldn’t be more accommodating, friendly and welcoming. The cabin itself was warm, cosy spacious, enough room for family or a group of friends in one. Wasn’t to far from town so we could even order a take away up. There wasn’t one thing I could fault. Would definitely recommend for couples get away weekend. Was a safe spot, Really...
Read moreBooked two cabins to Spend New Year's Eve with family and friends at Carntogher and was not disappointed! The cabins were lit with Christmas lights and the heating was on for us arriving. They were comfortable and spotlessly clean with everything you could need provided. Bronagh was a wonderful host and so friendly accommodating. She delivered fresh milk and butter to each cabin and gave us her number if we needed anything at all. The kids loved seeing the farm animals and we can't wait to come back in the Summer when we can make the most of the outdoor space and beautiful scenery. I just hope Bronagh let's us back after my daughter ate too much and was sick all over the bed!...
