Causeway Lodge — Hotel in Ireland

The Causeway Lodge is a cute and charming B&B in a great location. We enjoyed our time there, but sadly we were double-charged by the owner for our stay. We had prepaid for our stay, but the owner insisted we need to pay in person when we checked out. She claimed she had not received payment from the booking platform so we took her word for it and paid again using my credit card. Upon arriving home we confirmed with the booking company that she had in fact received our prepayment and we ultimately had to dispute the charge with our credit card. Despite multiple calls and multiple emails the owner has not corrected her mistake. To date she been unresponsive to both us and our credit card company. Take care if you prepay for your stay using a travel booking sight like Hotels.com or Priceline. Do not allow yourself to be double-charged...

Anne is a fabulous owner and hostess. Upon our very late arrival from Los Angeles, Anne offered to cook a meal for us! The rooms were new, spotless, and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and variety of food was generous. The lodge is located central to all Northern Ireland central and eastern coastal sites and golf courses. Anne was very helpful with information and suggestions when asked. The lodge's location is quiet and peaceful. Our scheduled changed and Anne was very accommodating. I have traveled playing golf for many years throughout Great Britain; the Causeway Lodge is in the top 5% of all B & Bs I have stayed. I highly recommend a wonderful stay at Anne and Lyle's...

We are a well travelled couple and have seen the worst and the best hotel / B&B’s. The Causeway Lodge is right up there with some of the best visited. The room we had, service and location are definitely a 5! Both Anne and Lyle were extremely accommodating with all our needs. Breakfast was fantastic, in fact Lyle made us a soda bread sausage and egg barm as we needed to leave early for the NW200. It fed us for bfast and lunch it was that big and tasty! The hot tub was great to relax into at the end of the day! We will be back again for the NW200 in 2027 and will be booking this lovely homely guesthouse again.
