Our stay at The Cedar Country Hotel, nestled in the picturesque countryside, was a delightful experience from start to finishWhile the rooms were on the little bit smaller than expected, they were incredibly comfortable and well-equipped with all the amenities one could ask for. The beds were particularly noteworthy, offering a restful night's sleep after a busy day.||The hotel itself was impeccably clean, with a charming seating area in the lobby where we could relax and unwind. The atmosphere was inviting and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.||One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the onsite restaurant, The Sika. The dinner options were outstanding, and we were blown away by the quality of the food. My spouse and I both enjoyed our meals immensely – the Lamb Chops served with baby boils were a particular standout, as was the BBQ Beef Burger. The flavors were exquisite, and every bite was a delight.||Breakfast the next morning was equally impressive, with a generous spread to choose from, including items fresh off the grill. We left the dining room feeling satisfied and ready to tackle a long day ahead. ||One of the most memorable aspects of our stay was the opportunity to chat with one of the three sisters who own the hotel. She was an absolute delight to speak with, sharing stories about her time working in Canada and offering recommendations for places to visit in Ireland. A fantastic boutique hotel, I booked it as it had a dog friendly room and the owner is an incredible host, we were made feel at home and so relaxed, it’s truly dog friendly as she was able to join us in the bar while we enjoyed a delicious dinner. The hotel is in a remote part of the countryside but very close drive to stunning walks and hikes, (best to have a car) The attention to every little detail from the comfortable and spotless room to the hearty breakfast was impeccable. I would definitely be planning a return visit and would strongly recommend to family and friends. The venue would make for a great family get together!
