tapnell farm is an amazing day out for any age group, but especially for young children. me and my partner went as a couple for the afternoon and we were spoilt with amazing things to do. getting to tapnell farm is no issue, as theyre all fast roads. parking once there is also cushty. the gift shop sells local produce, which is lovely to see! we went into the cafe which sells coffee on the farm and their coffee is made with very good quality beans. i had a caramel iced latte and certainly wasn't disappointed! there is an enormous range of animals here, and many activities to do involving these animals. i fed a wallaby which was by far the best part of my day. this doesn't even scratch the surface of what there is to do here for children, as there is a whole activity/play area dedicated for that, including football golf, mini putt, zip lines, a hot air trampoline, cycling, etc etc. the list just goes on and on. i would recommend tapnell farm to everyone!

Loved the pic your own pumpkins, live music & activities like axe throwing at tapnell farm. The only thing I was surprised at was the price of entry to see the animals. Would of worked out about £40 entry for my family. Apart from that, the farm was really clean, loads to do, good atmosphere and fun for kids too.

Did a sauna and lake dip hour at the Slomo area and absolutely loved it! Fen the lifeguard and Jesse the sauna master were kind and friendly and made the experience unforgettable!

Liked: The kitchen facilities are great! Lots of available things like toasters kettle fridge with small freezer , oven, stove top, sink with sponges and tea towels.. great!

Disliked: The containers are stacked VERY close to each other so if your neighbour is loud all you can hear is that, so it doesn't give you a sense of peaceful camping experience. That plus the camping area is so close to the football area of the farm, it definitely wasn't peaceful. No open fires means the nights are cold. The mattresses are covered with a layer of plastic for protection but this means every time you roll over in the night you wake everyone else up. There's a Very small sheltered section outside the containers that fits 2 chairs if it's raining. Unfortunately our container had a leak in this area which meant our party of 3, only 1 person could sit outside in this area because this dripped constantly whilst it rained and when it wasn't due to the excess water collection. Not value for money and we won't be back... My neighbours in London are not as close as the containers on the camp. Glad we went camping to get away from people only to sit in a crowded camp site. Also the road to access in and out is not easy to drive on. If we did not have a big car this wouldnt have been easy to access.

It asks to rate the wifi- there was no WiFi. There was barely...

Very enjoyable farm . Lots of activities to do like feeding the wallabies, Archery and crazy golf. Perfect for families with kids . They also have restaurant but can be fully booked on busy times like lunch. They have a play room for billiards and darts. Over all really good. Location was on top of the hill with the view of the mountains but it was like just 15-20mins drive to the ferry terminal. Very nice view early morning if it’s foggy, cozy weather with some sheeps and horses...
