As soon as we arrived Mike greeted us at the door ,showed us to the spacious lounge and offered us tea . The lounge was available for guests to use throughout your stay and had lots of books and sky tv ,as was the lovely big garden .The bedroom was clean and had everything we needed including a shower and gorgeous smelling toiletries . Breakfast was good .lots of choice just slight grumble ,as a lot of b and b’s seem to do now you have to order it the night before which is fine for me ,but not for my husband who doesn’t always know until the morning how hungry he is or what he fancies to eat, but that is just personal preference. Sue was a great hostess and very knowledgeable about the area and places of interest to visit. Plenty of parking outside the house. The location was ideal for visiting Sandringham ,Houghton Hall,Castle Rising but you definitely need a car as the local area consists of a garage and an expensive pub . Kings Lynn was approximately 20 minutes drive away where we found a few restaurants to eat at and is the nearest town. Highly recommend a stay at Linden as the hospitality was fantastic . Thank you for a lovely stay .Sharon...
Read moreLinden B&B advertises itself as " A Haven in the Countryside". That description is perfect. After a long day of driving from Heathrow, stopping to visit a few places on the way, we arrived at Linden in the late afternoon. Mike greeted us and offered us a welcome cup of tea. We felt ready to begin our holiday!||Linden B&B is located just off the main road from King's Lynn to Cromer on the Northeast coast of Norfolk. It is situated back from the small road in front with a lovely garden with fish pond and sitting areas in the back. Our room was large with all amenities provided. The downstairs lounge was comfortable and the breakfast room airy and bright. The highlight were the jams and marmalades made by Sue from local fruits. She had jars available for purchase that made wonderful gifts.||We spent four days at Linden and had plenty to occupy us. We visited Sandringham, Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall, Walsingham, Cromer, Wells by the Sea, and even had a walking tour of King's Lynn. It was a lovely visit to Norfolk, made better by our accommodations with Sue and Mike...
Read moreSuperb stay in a very comfortable B&B. We were greeted by Mike who imediately offer us a welcome cup of tea that we drank in the dedicated guests lounge while we chatted with Mike. We were in the smallest bedroom but it was quite adequate and the bed was really comfortable. The facilities were 1st class & even the shower was set up to pre- heat, so you stepped in to hot water. The choice & quality of breakfast was far better than any of the others we had during our visit to Norfolk, in spite of a much lower price, although to be fair the previous ones we in the more pricey areas but that does not excuse poor quality. Our room, at the back , overlooked the very attractive garden, although it had suffered from the recent (2018) hot weather. Guests are welcome to use the garden. We really cannot praise Sue & Mike & their accomodation...
