Wonderfully relaxing place in such a tranquil environment. The owners have managed to create the perfect balance with the feeling of being remote, yet maintaining enough familiarity that you don't miss everyday life.

Very peaceful place away from it all. The lodges were comfortable. A great wood nearby with a zip wire. The track was a mile long and quite rutted.

Just returned from our third stay with Wild Luxury and second at The Hideaway. I cannot recommend it enough. I don’t do camping but I can do glamping! The safari tents are fabulous from the big comfy beds to hot running showers. The finishing touches inside the tents make it a home from home. For families this is just perfect. Plenty of space to cook and eat - and can be indoors or outdoors! We opted for both. From the stunning views to the facilities available you have will have an amazing time. For our children the highlights are the zip wire and the hammocks to recover in, as well as the lambs and the chickens. Find the first egg is their favourite game but they always put it back so someone else can find it. The views are just stunning and looking at the stars by the glowing embers of a pit fire at night is magical. There are beaches near or further away, or other places such as Bewilderwood or Dinoland a short drive away. This visit we did a boat trip to see the the seals and it was truly magnificent. Anything you need the lovely Leanne is onsite to welcome you or answer your questions, and each day to drop off supplies and feed the on-site animals. There is someone on call if there are any issues - not that we have ever had any. If you’ve not glamped before - start here and see how wonderful it is. When life is so busy and devices take over this is a welcome opportunity to really switch off. If my pre teens can forget their gaming and watching videos for 5 days, then this is the...

The Hideaway is certainly wild, but I struggled to find the "luxury". The "lodge" is more like a drafty tent and had big gaps at the top and bottom that meant it was impossible to keep it warm with the woodburner. The heat just disppeared through all the gaps. I appreciate is was October but the bedrooms were cerainly not " cosy" as described on the website- even lying on the beds meant you could always feel a draft through the gaps - my daughter's hair, at one point, was blowing in the wind when she was sitting on the sofa! (it was a windy day but in North Norfolk in the open space you would expect it to be windy and the tents to be a bit more prepared for this) The site is in a beautiful location but we felt that some of the details let it down - there's a basketball hoop that is bent & broken, a volleyball net that is also broken. The knifes in the kitchen need sharpening, the lanterns were covered in wax and a few were broken and more than one tea towel is needed for the tent. I could feel the springs through the mattress. We are seasoned campers but this was supposed to be luxury camping and it certainly comes wtith the luxury camping price tag - and I'm really not sure where the luxury bit came in. On a plus note the warm shower was a saviour and the staff we met were very friendly. We would possibly visit again, simply because of the location, but in the summer as it's just impossible to keep such a drafty tent warm in the...

Amazing group family glamping weekend away in Norfolk- highly recommend. Great for families with young children.||Jonathan and the team were very accommodating and great at answering any queries we had in the lead up to our trip. ||The tents were well equipped with beds, a fully operating kitchen, flushing toilets, hot showers and a fireplace to help heat up the tent. We stayed at the Hideaway camp which is a lot more remote and about a ten minute drive from the main camp. This was perfect for our group as it was private and quiet. We were comfortable for kids to roam and explore on their own. There's a small play area that kept the kids occupied and various activities for the kids to play with dotted about. ||Our group came a little too over prepared but we probably didn't need to bring half the stuff. E.g. we brought along camping chairs, washing up liquid, hand soap, camping gas stove but all of this was provided in the tents. ||Unfortunately the weather wasn't great but this didn't spoil the experience. Tents are well covered so when it rained we just popped back inside until it stopped. Ensure you bring wellington boots regardless of weather! ||A great option for those looking for a camping experience but without compromising too much...
