Barncroft Luxury Guest House — Hotel in Metropolitan Borough of Solihull

Well what can I say I don’t normally write reviews but felt I needed to for this little diamond of a guest house I travel for work all over the country and stayed in some bleak hotels I thought this was going to be the same as the price was quite low considering most hotel chains charge £100+ for a nights stay with below average standards. I arrived at around 19:30 after driving from Stockton on tees to stay the night before continuing my journey to London I was greeted by Vicky who from the off was amazing showed me my room and asked if I had any questions or was their anything I needed or wanted which you don’t get from your run of the mill hotels.fresh milk in the fridge tea coffee sachets of hot chocolate and juice were available the bed was amazing I thought my bed at home was comfy but this was on another level that I didn’t want to get up the next morning but glad I did as the breakfast was probably one of the best I have eaten while I’ve been on the road working Vicky your sausages are spot on. This property DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER it may be cheap but for your money you go well above and beyond for your customers.Vicky you could charge a lot more for your rooms it’s just perfect even tho it was a whistle stop tour for me I have saved your details and I hope it’s not the last time I stay with you if I could give more that 5 stars you would definitely get more. Well from the moment Vicki opened the front door to the moment we left nxt day my husband and I felt so welcome. The guest house is tastefully decorated and we had a lovely twin ground floor room with a beautiful en suite bathroom. The information book in the room had been well thought out and told you about all the many nearby restaurants n pubs with personal opinions and detailed knowledge of all nearby places of interest. The cooked breakfast was truly amazing and delicious. Also the largest tea selection and other breakfast requirements that you could ever wish for. Vicki is a very friendly, chatty person who is so helpful and makes you feel so much more than just a guest The whole place is lovely and spotlessly clean. We both throughly enjoyed our short stay and will definitely be returning and will be recommending Barncroft to all our family and friends. Thanks so much...

First time I have stayed at Barncroft, most definitely won't be my last. Superbly located for the NEC and simply the best accommodation you could wish for.

Victoria is a wonderful host, friendly, professional and nothing is too much trouble.

My room was literally spotless and there was so much attention to detail. From a fridge in the room through to a hairdryer, room fan, vast range of hot and cold drinks and even a magnifying mirror everything had been thought of.

Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of yoghurts, fruit, cereals, croissants and more to begin with. Followed by your choice of a freshly cooked breakfast.
