Ramstorland barns — Hotel in Mid Devon

Place was very clean and tidy, amazing view. However there is no privacy we had no WiFi as it was disconnected. We booked the place for 2 nights but we only stayed for 1 night as we felt insulted and disrespected, originally we booked the place for 3 adults and 2 of my guests came but they had booked a hotel. Before we went to their hotel we all came to ramstorland valley view cottage to drop our belongings off and my guests really liked the place and decided to stay together, so we went up to the owners and explained the situation to them and they turned around and said no only 4 people can stay max which was understandable, we decided that the two extra guest will go to the hotel that they originally had booked. Next morning we all got ready and our 2 extra guest came to pick us up. The owner came to check up on us to see if we all stayed at the ramstorland valley view cottage and was constantly asking questions and asking for the name of the hotel etc and we felt like she was accusing us , honestly I just felt INSULTED also she said in the presence of my mum which made her feel VERY uncomfortable and straight after she had left we decided to leave as I didn’t feel comfortable to go back and spend another night there. We had a lovely stay in Stag View last weekend whilst attending a wedding nearby. The barn was very clean and well equipped. The view was amazing over the valley and the kids thoroughly enjoyed watching the deer and cows out of the window. We would highly recommend staying here with small children. We were provided with a travel cot, high chair and baby bath which made our stay very easy. There were also some games provided and even though the weather was horrible, we enjoyed watching the rain hammer down over the valley through the bifold doors. They also have an EV charger which we were able to make use of overnight for no additional cost. The beds were really comfy and the freshly baked scones that were left on our arrival were wonderful!
