The Elms Holiday Home — Hotel in Mid Devon

We had a wonderful family celebration at The Elms. The accommodation was perfect for an age range from 7 months to 73 years old! Becky had even put up a Golden Wedding banner for us, and there was a lovely box of Milk Tray chocolates and sweets for the children for us to share too. The house is well equipped for a large group with everything we needed. The hot tub was a firm favourite, overlooking fields and hills a real relaxing treat. The games room was another hit, with some competitive pool and table football games in particular. With plenty of outdoor space to run around or sit and reflect too, it's a wonderful place to stay for all ages. The bedroom set ups with the option of king-size or twin beds in 3 of the bedrooms make it a really flexible space for combinations of guests. 2 travel cots and highchairs were also provided. A beautiful house with spacious modern decor with a pleasant mix of the original design. On arrival our guests were made to feel welcome and at home with special touches like a greeting card and large box of chocolates. The kitchen is large spacious and equipped with features to cater for a large group. We personally enjoyed using the restaurant Spelt’s option of being catered for on one occasion and weren’t disappointed with a beautiful 3 course meal. 11 of us had a fantastic time at the Elms. The property comfortably hosted us all and we were able to cook for everyone with ease. The outside space is brilliant.....our kids spent so much time playing football or using the park area. The hot tub was lovely and very big which again meant that we could all use it. Location is brilliant with Tiverton just a short drive away. The games area was an added bonus and I was able to resurrect my table tennis skills from circa 1988 ...still got it lol. All in all a brilliant weekend and would highly recommend this accommodation to all.....hopefully we will be back again...
