Clayton Wickham Farmhouse — Hotel in Mid Sussex

We are so grateful, that we were led to this estate.||The beautiful house with it's very tastefully decorated rooms||and the beautiful, well maintained garden||with it's marvelous view into the countryside delighted us||on first sight. This was topped by our charming hosts, Susie and Mike,||who made our 10-day-stay as conveniant as possible. Please whoever is reading this do not make your decision based on the previous review! ! 😊from the moment we arrived we received a lovely warm welcome from the owners who invited us to their gorgeous house. The house is beautiful filled with an array of family treasures and memories which add to the charm and warm hospitality. The surrounding garden can be described a pockets of magic. The grounds of this hotel are lovely and the hosts are charming. However, the room we were offered was not worth £165 per night. It is not a luxury offer. Our room was the twin seaside themed room. Maybe we were very unlucky but it wasn’t very clean - the shower had mould growing in it, the shelves and knick knacks were dusty. The drawers had old receipts in them dating back to 2020. ||||The velux blinds didn’t fit well, so we woke really early in the morning and decided not to stay another night.
