Wow what a B&B, treated ourselves for our 25th wedding. A beautiful house, tastefully decorated, the rooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms were very luxurious. From the moment Mark greeted us on our first evening we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. Mark and Sabine were happy to help in any way, giving us advice on where to eat and where best to visit. The location was perfect for exploring the new forest, nothing was more than 20 mins away. We even did a beautiful walk directly from the B&b. The breakfasts were outstanding and all freshly cooked and the breakfast room was large and beautifully decorated. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again and would happily recommend. Thank you🙂

Impeccable service from Mark and Sabine, they were so welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room was beautiful, spacious and well looked after. Breakfast was a feast, catering to our every whim and executed to a very high standard. We had fruit, fresh hot croissants before a main meal which was piping hot and delicious. We were also offered cake after but as we were so full, they packed us some to go! It was such a pleasure to stay here, a first-class experience and exemplary hospitality from our hosts.

We stayed here for a long bank holiday weekend, and can't recommend it enough. Our hosts were cheery and helpful, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with a few options for vegetarian and vegan diets. The rooms were so comfy and attention to detail was fantastic (particularly the charging station for an electric toothbrush in the bathroom)! We would definitely stay here again, and have told our families about it.

Mark and Sabine were the most wonderful hosts. Even before we got there, Sabine recommended several restaurants for us to go to. The two I chose were fabulous. We have just got back from a wonderful weekend spent at their beautiful B&B. The decor is so tastefully done. From the moment you walk into the hallway you can tell it is going to be fabulous! Our room no 3 was extremely comfortable, with a super king bed, TV and tea and coffee facilities. Sabine even offered us fresh milk ! The bathroom, well what can I say. We have stayed in many 5* hotels and you'd have to go a long way to find one as luxurious as the one we had. The breakfast was delicious. Croissants, fresh fruit, juice and jams on the table and a wonderful choice of hot food, My husband loved the scrambled eggs and my full English was great. Moortown lodge is situated perfectly, for getting around whether you want the New Forest or surrounding areas. We will definitely be recommending Moortown Lodge B&B to our friends and family. We wish Mark and Sabine every success...

I travel around the country a great deal and choose, mainly, to stay in either b&bs or small hotels and I can honestly say this is the best. The attention to detail is perfect from adjustable reading lamps situated on the wall either side of the bed to motion sensor LED lighting in the bathroom to a Faraday box for car keys. The bathroom flooring is non slip, the bedroom and bathroom decor is tasteful and coordinated, including radiators and cooling fans. The breakfast is freshly cooked and ingredients of excellent quality. One morning I had to eat by 7.30 as I had an early appointment, all was beautifully laid out with a bowl of freshly prepared fruit and berries and two flakey warm croissants. Sabine very kindly made me up a packed lunch in carry bag, as I would have no time to eat later in the day. Mark and Sabine are first class hosts and I would have no hesitation in recommending this little gem to anyone needing to stay in the Ringwood area, in fact I have booked to...

This is an absolute gem of a B&B, in a superb location. The B&B comprises of 5 or 6 rooms & is run by Mark & Sabine, absolutely fantastic hosts who made us feel very welcome and made our trip very special.

We stayed in the Helena room, which was very spacious comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious and clearly a lot of thought had been taken with the décor and design. All the fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard and it certainly would not have looked out of place in a 5 star hotel.

Similarly the breakfasts were amazing. I had a full English breakfast both days, whilst my wife had scrambled eggs and salmon. There was fresh fruit and pastries too and tea, coffee and juice. All freshly prepared by Sabine, a super cook.

Nothing was too much trouble for Mark & Sabine. Their personal service and attention to detail was so refreshing and made our stay that extra...
