Wallrudding Farm — Hotel in Newark and Sherwood

1st time in Lincoln for me 😁... We had a lovely welcome from Peter the farmer 🚜 we stayed in koi cottage (3 bedrooms) which was very clean, comfortable and all newly decorated and all modern con's & welcome chocolate😋😉 Nothing to much trouble from the team if you need them 🏡.. Very large indoor pool again spotless clean and safe as 1 family at a time in the pool with covid 😷. Just need some bigger 🐟🦈 fish 🐬🐠 in the 2 small lakes on site as this is what our visit was for as we had been out booked as of Hoseasons mistakes 😠😡we should of been in York. You will need to drive to everywhere as nothing around this area but some nice walks at the back of the fields and Lincoln has lots and lots of fields and not much more to do 😄. Can't fault the accommodation and safety on site this made the stay as biggest fish was a 6lb ghost carp not even seen anything bigger feeding or on the lakes and they have many hundreds of small fry in lakes. Hi to Sue who lives on site 🤗. if I was to return to visit Lincoln I would definitely stay here and I totally recommend this...

Fabulous week at the farm staying in Koi Keep. Time spent fishing in the farm lakes, swimming in the indoor poor and generally lazing about. Lincoln was nearby and we spent 2 days exploring here. Doddington Hall was near. We visited the shop and had a walk round rhe fields but didnt bother with the Hall itself. Seaside about an hour away:Mablethorpe and Skegness sand and very cold sea! Hopefully whoever stays here next will use our castle tickets left on the kitchen table as you get a free return visit. Hosts were very friendly including the dogs who just bark to welcome you and then come to see what you are doing from time to time. Would be nice to have some up to date leaflets of ideas for places to go. We will definitely be back here again maybe next time booking two cottages and making it an extended...

What a lovely few days we had and a bit thank you to Natasha and Peter. Excellent communication before hand and throughout. Such a beautiful place. We stayed with our family in Carp Cottage. it was beautifully clean and all the extras was really appreciated, especially the lovely box of chocolates!! The pool was an added bonus which we all really enjoyed. Again really clean and a lovely table and chairs next to it to sit and enjoy watching the kids have fun. The open fields were great for playing catch with the kids and the scenery lovely. Our grandchildren loved meeting the three very friendly dogs. I cannot fault the place at all.
