Bryansford Cottage — Hotel in Newry, Mourne and Down District Council

I had a fantastic stay at Bryansford cottage for a retreat that I attended last weekend. Jay and Mary are just so incredibly lovely and welcoming and they did everything to make sure our stay was perfect- which it absolutely was!||Bryansford Cottage is such a beautiful, homely space that even though I had never been before, somehow felt so familiar. I stayed in the recently converted stables which are modern, bright and beautiful and they have so much character throughout. The room and ensuite were both spotless and the bed was super comfortable. ||The grounds at Bryansford cottage are simply breathtaking, I could have sat outside all day and just taken in all the beauty, had we not had such a busy schedule. At the end of the weekend I just didn't want to leave and I promised myself that I will definitely be back as soon as possible! I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this beautiful place to everyone and anyone. Thank you so much for making my stay perfect Mary and Jay! I will definitely see you...

We visited last summer and I am just now looking this place up to recommend to friends who are traveling soon. This is, by far, the most welcome we have ever felt in a B&B. The rooms are cozy and luxe, remodeled completely by the hosts. Books abound. Nooks to drink coffee in, space for groups, and an absolutely lovely child and pup are roaming around. Hosts picked us up from the bus station, fed us in the mornings, and took us to the foot of Slieve Donard to hike and explore Tollymore forest. We were only there a short time, but I can confidently say we will return to Newcastle and to Bryansford cottage. I believe they are adding on an event space which I am sure will only enhance the grounds.
