When you have a vista the like of the one outside Millars Cottages on your doorstep, you’re one step ahead of the competition before you begin. But you don’t want to know about the view, what about Jimmy’s cottage, I hear you ask? Well, it has two comfortable spacious bedrooms, a shower room on the ground floor and a bathroom on the first. There’s a mezzanine sitting room with plenty of room and a spacious well equipped kitchen. None|If the fixtures and fittings should any sign of their age which is no mean feat considering the cottages are 25yrs old this year. Outside there is a picnic bench and fire pit. Unfortunately, with snow on the Marilyns, sitting out was not a choice for the sane. There was a comfortable chair at the French windows which sated the desire to just sit, look and contemplate which should be your main preoccupation in the Mournes. If you're a Game of Thornes, there | a couple of places nearby where they filmed. Castle Ward and Tollymore Forest are very close. The other things from the show can be done as day trips Belfast where they have the studio tours I can go on and about everything Game of Thornes to do and see from this place.
