Also another clean Hilton hotel and so sweet they prepared us with kids toys and amenities. Reception staff was so friendly and very helpful on explaining about the room we had. It was a long walk to our room on third floor… and so surprised that both cot bed and sofa bed was already prepared for us with a sweet little touch, you can see my photos. First Hilton ever did that for our kids!!!!! Great job!!!!! Room itself not so Morden but well kept maintenance, good job on the house keeping team! We called/message ask for cot-bed sheet and ice bucket and oh my god… the fastest service ever! I was wondering do that have a secret pathway to reach that side of our room -: I mentioned before from elevator to our room is a very long walk! But every time we request something they will be there in few mins , feel like magic to me 😂 I am very impressed with the fast service!!! One thing got me a bit mad was the burnt kettle incident, I don’t mind the burnt kettle but when I called and told them about it the house keeping came and told me to put water in before press boil!!!!! I was like… I was putting water in and noticed the burnt smell… she was accusing me of burning the kettle… I said I have not even started to use it! I was putting water in!!! You can clearly see there burnt and someone tried to scratched it off before… then she said again maybe that kettle button was pressed by accident if I have moved something and stuff was pressing it down… yes so she implies that I accident have things pressing the kettle button!!! At the end I didn’t wanna talk to her and so I called the reception and told them “I DID NOT BURN THE KETTLE!” Funny that how one person can ruined the whole experience for you… oh well… Breakfast was good but don’t sit near the window in winter time as they put heating full on and blow directly on your head… 😂 and found a dirty folk… Lots of parking space and £5 per night… charged me £10 for 2 nights but I drove home second night but still charge 😂 I don’t mind as it’s only £5

It's a good hotel but there were problems which I told the hotel receptionist Carlos about who resolved them efficiently. We got the breakfast rate and paid an additional £12 upgrade for a better room and deluxe snacks tray. Check in was quick and easy and Carlos was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived at our room there was no deluxe snack tray but a quick text to Carlos resolved this. It included two small bottles of merlot, two small tubes of Pringles, two packets of olives and two small chocolate bars. We later discovered the pringles were three weeks out of date and the olives had also just expired. Later, we noticed there was only one set of towels but another text resolved this. We then decided to make drinks but the coffee sachets were 4 and 3 months out of date. Breakfast is served in room and is ordered online by using a link texted to you by the receptionist. We ordered our evening meal via just eat and when I went down to collect it, I took the expired food and coffee to Carlos. He apologised and replaced them with two bottles of Peroni. Breakfast the next morning arrived 15 minutes late and didn't include exactly what I ordered. Apple juice instead of orange for example. It included two tiny croissants but no jam for example to go on them. I will go again when there is socially distanced dining but this was a great stay nevertheless. Just keep an eye on expiry dates.

The booking was for a business meeting room. The meeting room was not adequately prepared for our booking, desktop power outlets were not connected and required us to follow up twice. The HDMI cable provided was very short, when we requested a longer replacement, it unfortunately did not work. Additionally, the front desk staff member assisting us was unfamiliar with the projector and any tech related questions. There was also no information provided in the room regarding car parking, I had to inquire separately for these details. All of these logistical aspects (WiFi connection, parking instructions, projector guidance, etc.) could have been efficiently communicated in an email prior to our event.

Given the fee of £1,000 per day for 20 people, I believe investment in updated technology is warranted, the equipment is outdated and there are modern wireless solutions available for presentations beyond relying on an HDMI cable. As facilitating business meetings is presumably a primary function of this facility, this aspect is highly important!

Regarding catering, I had two main issues. First, the staff began clearing the food 30 minutes before the allocated end time, even while some guests had not finished eating, I have even addressed this to the staff but he carried on. Second, the selection of meat options was quite limited and insufficient. Despite paying for catering for 20 attendees, only 17 were present, yet food availability, especially items such as chicken skewers (which were very dry anyway), were inadequate and stretched between both our meeting room and another large event.

Regrettably, based on the lack of room readiness, outdated technology, and disappointing catering, I do not anticipate booking another business meeting at Hilton in the future.

Location is very good for M1 access, but not accessible by...

This was our second stay for Download Festival and as lovely as the staff were, we had a four night stay, the first three were spent in a room where the aircon was faulty and there were horrible small stains on the bathroom wall. The room should have never been allocated or made available. We raised it immediately and the only option we were given was to raise it to maintenance. We accepted, as we thought it would be something that could be resolved and weren't given any other options unfortunately but this became a recurring theme, as we spent two days waiting around for the issue to be resolved, only to find the unit just switched itself off after the two maintenance staff worked on it and we missed most of the acts we wanted to see, that we paid alot of for money. At night the room reached twenty seven degrees with no windows to open and two small desk fans constantly on, it not only disrupted our sleep, we were exhausted, frustrated but felt that the service offered could have been more efficient, as on our last night we were finally offered a different room. Not ideal to come back to after spending a whole day at a music festival and we've had our hottest day so far. The sad thing is I read a review online about a customer who had faced the same issue only a few months ago, stayed on the same floor I can only guess the same room, so the issue should have been resolved and their experience was handled far better and quickly than ours sadly. Even the aircon in the hallway was faulty, it was roasting. The only positives were that the housekeeping staff were so friendly and helpful, immediately bought up fans. The chef too is lovely, so friendly and welcoming - the quality of the food was fantastic. This stay would have been much better if the right service was...
